I'm continuing this since people liked it!

We sat down and Spock said, "Please, let me know when you are done answering questions."

I nodded, "Okay."

"Why did you hide your ears?"

"I didn't think it was relevant."

"Why not? If you wanted someone to love you, wouldn't you want them to love every aspect of you?"

"I wasn't looking for love, I was waiting for it to find me."

"Why?"

"I was tired of looking."

He thought for a moment, then asked, "Why?"

"I kept looking for the wrong people."

"Why would someone not feel comfortable when choosing a partner?"

"There are a lot of variables about why, trauma from past relationships, anxiety about how the relationship might go, there's a lot of reasons, it just depends on how the person was raised or how they experienced past relationships."

"Hm."

"As I spoke to the captain about this subject, I realized that love should be reciprocated in order to start a relationship."

"Since you are here, in your favorite dress, I have come to the conclusion that you love me."

"How?"

"In the three years that I have known you, I have never seen you wearing such a dress."

"I barely wear it."

"That makeup as well, barely used yet well done, you used to wear makeup in the academy, and you did it so well that you did it all the time."

"Makeup attracts men, men love seeing women wear makeup, especially on prettier ladies, because deep down men want that pretty woman to be in their bed that night."

"Especially Jim Kirk."

"If he liked you, why didn't you reciprocate it?"

I smirked, giggling slightly.

"Jim Kirk falls in love too fast, and it never lasts, and trust me, that's not a good thing, when he matures and falls in love, I hope it lasts."

"Hm."

"But, when I was younger, I didn't exactly get the attention the other girls got. And when I finally was, I fell in love with the person that was giving it to me."

After a while of talking, Spock finally served his mother's recipe of plomeek soup that he had programmed into the replicator.

"I'm guessing this is a Vulcan dish?"

"You are guessing correctly, it is my mother's rendition."

"Is there any sort of Vulcan tradition you have to do before eating?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Just because I was born and raised on earth, doesn't mean I wish to be disrespectful of your culture."

"I have a lot to teach you y/n."

"I'd be happy to learn."

I smiled as we started eating.

*A few years later*

I walked into Spock's quarters and saw him sitting on his chair, meditating.

And I almost felt bad bothering him, "Hey Spock."

His eyes slowly opened and he looked at me.

"Hello y/n, how was your shift?" He asked, as I sat down next to him.

"I can't believe I didn't get to work with Scotty today, it was unbelievably boring."

"You two can't work together anymore, you never get anything done."

I giggled, swinging my legs over onto his lap.

His hands started rubbing my legs, "But that's what makes working fun." I smirked.

"They are right though, we never get anything done." I said, looking at his face.

I smiled and realized that Spock was staring into the distance, thinking.

"What are you thinking about?"

He looked at me and said, "I was thinking about how much of our culture that you have learned, yet you do not use it."

"I still respect it, every time I see a Vulcan I have never met before, I salute to him."

He looked away from me and I felt like he was starting to get annoyed, "Spock, I didn't grow up with my true culture, so I didn't use it a whole lot in my childhood, I wish I did, so then I would have it in my routines."

"But you taught me, and I am very respectful of it."

I held out my pointer and ring finger together and he immediately linked his fingers to mine.

I kissed his cheek, and he turned his head and leaned in, planting a soft kiss on my lips.

"Taluhk nash-veh k'dular, ashayam." He said against my lips and I felt my heart melt.

"I cherish you too, my love."
