Chapter 25: The Coming Storm

Luke woke up, when he did he was hyperventilating, Rico was awake too.

"Where the fuck are we" Luke asked Rico.

Rico got up and limped to the window, there were bandages and casts all over both the Lucario's bodies and they were still in pain, when Rico opened the curtains he saw they were in a wooded area.

"Welcome to Vancouver!" A voice called out.

The two turned to the door and saw a Liepard couple standing at the door. The wife set down some soup for both of them to eat.

"Would you love to explain why you dragged us all the way to Canada" Luke said, crossing his arms.

"It's the safest place for y'all right now" The female Liepard said.

"Allow us to introduce ourselves... I'm Roman, and this is my wife Danica"

"Hi" Rico said, smiling.

"Pffft" Luke said.

"Lukarin!... Come on! These people saved us" Rico said.

"You really didn't have to do that" Luke said.

"Well if we didn't ya would have spent most of your lives in jail" Danica responded, "Now, eat up, big boys need their strength!"

"Sure... Thanks!" Rico said, then he started eating the soup.

Luke was reluctant but he sighed and had some of the soup too. He froze suddenly, it tasted really good, the Lucario, to everyones surprise drank the whole bowl of soup and gave them the plate.

"More" Luke said.

Rico's mouth dropped open, it wasn't every day you saw Luke liked something so much he wanted more of it.

The couple looked at each other and smiled, "Coming right up"

Rico laughed to himself, he never saw Luke like soup that much. Let alone ask for seconds.

A petrol station in Canada

London yawned and stretched, Ketster had stopped there to get some food for everyone to eat, his eyes were slowly closing when he heard a knock on the window and he looked over, outside was a Lycanrock smiling and waving at London, wearing a green coat and a scarf, the Flareon roled down the window and squinted at her.

"Yes?" London said.

"May I have a talk?" She asked.

"Um... Ok" The Flareon responded.

She lead London into the woods, there was blue Subaru Forester parked by the lake, she opened the boot and sat down.

"I'm kinda busy right now is there something you need?"

"Nope, but I should be asking you if there is something you need the Lycanrock replied, she opened a box and inside were some rather strange trinkets and gadgets inside.

"Hmm Interesting" London said, picking up a strange looking gun, it suddenly went off and a light orange flash burnt a hole in a tree, its foundation collapsed and it fell into the lake. The Flareon nervously put it back into the box.

"Oh I forgot to introduce myself... My name is Hazel... Hazel Min Lee!" She said, extending her paw.

"London Winters" The Flareon said, shaking her paw.

"Winters? But your a fire type"

London banged his head on a tree, no one had annoyed him about it for years until that point, "I know"

"Anyway... I'm interning with MI6, you can think of me as a cuter version of Q!"

"Um ok..." London replied, baffled.
