Chapter 6: Snatchers In The Fray

London

Ketster was walking with London, Isabel and Moonlake after they took Ketster over to get some new clothes.

"So what do you think," Moonlake asked.

"It's fine I guess" Ketster responded.

"Good" London replied.

Meanwhile in a van parked nearby, Carolyn and a small team of Kai Industries commandos were watching them through the cameras on the street, she observed the four descend into the Piccadilly Circus station before turning off the monitor.

"On me" She said.

Downstairs at the station the four had just missed the train and the next one was seven minutes away.

"Shit, that always happens to me" London said, "As much as I love working part time for the tube, I hate when I miss trains, it's literally the most frustrating thing on the planet"

"I agree" Moonlake replied.

"So what, there's another one coming, big deal" Ketster replied.

"Ketster, do you understand the essence of time?" Isabel asked, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, but we don't have anywhere important to be at right now" Ketster responded.

"The sooner we get you back to your flat, the sooner you can be safe" Isabel said.

"I can protect myself" Ketster replied, "I ain't no little kid"

"So you protect yourself from a bunch of armed Commandos who will possibly wipe the floor with you despite your abilities?" Isabel responded.

The banter between the Eevee and the Leafeon continued...

Moonlake noticed Carolyn and the small team of Pokemon casually dressed sitting on the bench not far from them, the Eevees eyes turned purple for a second then reverted back to hazel.

"London, those Pokemon"

The Flareon turned back to look in Moonlakes direction, "Yeah, they seem strange"

Then the two got an idea, Moonlake started acting like a little kid and ran along the platform pretending to be an airplane, London chased after him.

"Come back here you little brat!" London shouted.

When they were close enough the two stopped in front of the Pokemon and drew Glock 18s. The other Pokemon were surprised and tried drawing their weapons, London shot the ones that drew their weapons while Moonlake held his up to Carolyn.

"What the fuck are you doing here mum!?" London said.

Moonlake slowly looked up at him, Isabel and Ketster stopped their banter when they heard that.

"Thats your mother?!" Moonlake asked.

"Yes, yes she is. And if she doesn't leave I'm going to shoot her"

"I welcome you to try" Carolyn replied, she pulled a gun from her bag and tried to quick draw and shoot London in the gut.

The Flareon grabbed her arm and flung her off the bench. The Glaceon got back up and drew a knife, she lunged at London, he ducked and smacked her with his tail. She raised her gun at him.

"Get out before I kill you!" London growled, his eyes turning orange.

Carolyn whimpered, she still didn't like fighting her own son, she wanted to just run and grab her package (Ketster). But if she could tell there was something abnormal about the Flareon so she left.

London put his Glock away and started picking up the shell casings on the floor. Moonlake did the same, the train arrived at the platform and they got on, someone on the platform screamed as they saw the dead bodies around the bench, Isabel turned off her phone, "I earased the CCTV footage during the time of the incident"

"Okay" London replied.

"That was your mom? Why do hate her?" Ketster asked.

"She murdered his father" Moonlake replied

"Strange" Ketster said to himself as the train started to pull out of the station.

Manchester

"Good night guys!" Amber a Ninetales called out.

"Good Night!" Her colleagues shouted.

Amber took the Metro home and arrived to find her computer beeping, she tossed her bag and rushed over to the computer, she had inserted a chip into Lukes blood that monitored anything that happened to him or the chemicles in his bloodstream, she gasped... What she found was something very minacious.
