Chapter 32: Light Turns To Darkness

"Hey wait... Luke used to talk about you sometimes" Rico said.

"Yeah... We worked a few times together when I was at the CIA. But I left, there were other things I wanted to do with my life, like teach English here in Japan" Alexa said, then she opened a cup of yogurt and started to eat it.

"Oh"

Rico noticed her injured arm, Alexa saw him looking at it.

"Ah this? I'm fine, I got it saving you from that psycho Glaceon back in China. I'll be alright" Alexa said, assuring Rico she was ok.

"Are you sure you're alright..." Rico asked, noticing her arm shaking a little.

"Yeah, it's just that I haven't been shot in a while" She replied.

"Ok..."

Then she dropped the spoon on the table, Rico sighed and walked over to her, picking the spoon up, "I got it, really-"

"You clearly can't eat right now-" Rico scooped up some of the yogurt and put it to her mouth, "I got it..."

Alexa didn't understand why he was so kind so she smiled, "You know... Luke always told me you could never hurt a thing"

"That's just him exaggerating, you don't wanna see me in super ready to fight mode" Rico replied.

"Heh heh, sure" Alexa replied.

While sitting at the café she was eating at Delevio decided to check in on the kids since she had some downtime on her paws.

"Mommy! Come home!" Lydia whined, the Eevee looked anxious to see her mother.

"Mommy will be able to come home soon, don't worry honey" Delevio said, then she remembered something she bought for Lydia and reaches into one of her bags, she finds a small dress and shows it to the girl on Camera.

"You see this dress?!" She said.

"So pretty!" Lydia shouted excitedly.

"Yep, and it's all for you!"

Lydia gasped, "Yeah! Thank you mommy!"

"You're welcome!" Delevio said, she noticed Tyler peaking in the background.

"Is that your brother?" Delevio asked.

Lydia turned around, "Yeah... He doesn't play with me mommy"

Delevio began to grow increasingly worried about Tyler, "Can you call call your brother over"

"Tyler, mommy want to talk to you!" Lydia shouted.

Tyler reluctantly got up from where was sitting and plopped down next to his sister, Delevio saw the tired look in his eyes and squeezed her fist. As a mother she absolutely hated seeing her son like that.

"Tyler, have you been behaving yourself in school. I don't want to see more emails from your teachers about you acting up" Delevio said.

"Yeah..." The boy replied.

"That's good to hear" Delevio responded, clapping her hands together.

"When will you come home"

"I don't know... But I hope it's soon" Delevio responded, she took a sip of her coffee and noticed Greene walk out of the dining room in view of the camera.

"Hello!"

Greene looked over at the laptop and saw Delevio waving at him, "Hey"

"Can I get something to eat" Tyler asked Greene.
