Chapter 50: Redemption

London

Delevio and London sit in a park as they watch their children play around. The Flareon notices Moonlake come over and crawl into his lap so he could lay down on him.

"You okay?" London asks, stroking his head gently.

"Mmmhm" Moonlake replies, he licks London's cheek and lays his head back down on his chest.

"He's really that happy with you huh?" Delevio says.

"Pretty much" London says, messaging Mooonlakes little head. The Eevee smiles enjoying the soothing feeling the message gave him, "Has Tyler's behaviour gotten better?"

"It's been downhill since Luke left... Even when I opened up to him and told him the things his father did... He still wanted to see him. I don't understand why he thinks his dad is such a saint but I have news for him... He ain't one"

"Yeah... That's true-"

"... Thing is though, his mother Amber... She gave him some sort of temporary cure. We're working with her to find a permanent cure for Luke's little serum in my blood makes me go apeshit problem"

"What's about Rico-" London asks out of curiousity.

Delevio sighs and shakes her head, "They went to Kai Industries headquarters in Shanghai and grabbed an experimental serum from there. Me and my team intercepted them before they could leave the city and we almost got them... But then Rico drank the serum that they stole and now's he's pretty much worse then Luke was on a bad day. Just yesterday, he got into a fight with Luke at the prison after he found out about the deal I made him for his rehabilitation, Luke still handed his ass to him though"

"So they've basically switched personalities?" Moonlake asks.

Delevio laughs to herself for a while when she does realise that they're personalities did in fact switch, "Yeah... Pretty much. Anyway... While Luke is being rehabilitated in Wisconsin, Rico's going to a mental asylum in Norway if he can't present enough evidence in court to save his ass... So yeah, that's the situation right now"

"How long would Rico be in the asylum for?" London asks.

"... A long ass time from what I've been told" Delevio responds.

"Man, I kinda feel bad for him" London says.

"In a way I do too-" Delevio adds.

Then London's phone starts buzzing. The Flareon takes the phone out of the picnic basket and sees Kovar is trying to video call him, the two look at each other and then London answers the call.

"Sir?" London says when he sees Kovars face appear on the screen.

"Agent Winters... Agent Bottelavicci..."

Delevio waves to Kovar.

"Come down to Vauxhall. This is urgent-" Kovar says.

"I'll be there as soon as I can-"

"Good" Kovar responds, then the Umbreon hangs up.

"What do you think it's about?" Delevio asks.

"I have somewhat of an idea-" London responds while stroking Moonlake's head.
