Rule no.1 [Nct Jaemin]

Part 5

"Ria, we're just friends! Stop looking at me like that!" 

I'm having my lunch while me and Ria are talking thru video call. She stayed up all night just to  call me and ask about the pictures I posted last night.

"You're being defensive, Sands. I'm not even saying anything like that!" she said while laughing.

"But your face! There's really nothing between us. How's Australia?"

"Still a country. I almost forgot, I'll be back next month! Your Dad keeps on asking me how are you. C'mon Sandy, talk to your father."

"I-I need to do something. Talk to you next time!"

"Sandy-" before she could say something I ended up the call. 

Before we flew back here in the Philippines, me and my father had a huge fight. He doesn't want me to go back here for some unknown reasons. 

My mother died when I was only 4 years old and my dad decided to migrate to Australia. Since then, I haven't heard anything from our relatives in my mother side. Ria's family was our neighbor when we moved to Melbourne and because of that we became best friends. 

My phone beeped and saw Ria's message on instagram. I left it on read and decided to just entertain myself by watching anime.

Victorious: Call me when you need someone to talk to, Sands. Your Dad is doing good here but it will be better if you can talk to him. See you soon!

My whole attention is into watching this anime that I didn't bother checking the time. I choose pain that is why I'm watching Violet Evergarden with tears. When my phone rang and answered it while my eyes is still on the tv. 

"H-Hi..." I paused from talking become the scene still hurting the hell out of me.

"I'll be there in a minute" and the call ended. I was too lazy to look who called. 

After watching the series and the first movie, I finally decided to cook something for my dinner since it's already night. I played some songs while cooking. My playlist is on shuffle so when Love Talk played I got startled but in the end I'm already shouting the lyrics as if I have a concert.  I'm jamming with the music while cutting potatoes, I stopped when my doorbell rang. I looked at the monitor who's outside and opened the door looking at him with confused face. Why he's panting and sweating as if someone was chasing him.

"What happened?" I asked him. He's still catching his breath before looking at me with his worried eyes. "Get inside, I'll give you some water. Did you run?" He just followed me to the kitchen. After drinking the water I gave him, he started talking. 

"I was worried" I rolled my eyes after hearing his words. I know that! I can see it in your eyes, punk! 

"Why? I don't remember doing something crazy that can make someone worried." I said and handed him again a glass of water. 

"Fuck." I heard him cursed and he's harshly grabbing his own hair. 

"H-Hey. What's the problem?" I tapped him on his shoulders then he looked at me. 

"You were crying when I called you! I thought something happened and hurriedly came here! What in the freaking-" he stopped from talking when he realized he was raising his voice. " I'm sorry. I'm just really worried. What were you doing when I called you, hmm?" His voice soften while looking at me directly to my eyes. 

"I-I was watching a-anime. I'm sorry for making you worry, Sev" I heard him sighed when he heard my reason.

I got scared when his voice raised a while ago. I thought he's mad at me for making him worry.

"What did you watched?" he asked. "V-Violet Evergarden." I answered. 

"Did I scared you? Sorry, I won't raise my voice anymore." I just nodded at him and continue cooking. I was silent the whole time and I didn't bother speaking because I feel bad for making him worry. He breaks the silent by asking me if he could join for dinner and I just nodded.

"Next time tell me if you will watch something sad."

"I didn't know that was a sad anime. Plus, you're busy with your business. I cannot just call you for some nonsense matter." 

"I'll always answer your call, Sands. Even if it was for a nonsense matter, I'll still answer it." then he smiled and continue eating.

He volunteered washing the dishes and I'm currently lying down here in the couch while scrolling thru my phone. 

"AHH!" I shouted after I saw Jaemin's recent instagram post. He's really handsome! The last post was 2 months ago! I thought he already forgot his password. I commented on the post and closed my phone. I need to drink water, my throat fucking hurts because of shouting. I was smiling like an idiot while pouring water to my glass.

"You're creeping me out" I chocked while drinking water when I heard Sev's remarks. I almost forgot that he's here!

"I almost forgot that you're here!" I said. He laughed at me while he's drying his hands, he just finished  washing the dishes.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I giggled before answering.

"Jaemin posted a pic on ig. That dude is really handsome! Mygadh I can't move on! How am I supposed to like someone when he's my standard" I casually said without knowing the fact that I might hurt him a bit. 

"Hahaha. Okay, okay, at least you're happy. Do you want ice cream?"

"Nah. I'm on diet. I can't have after meal snack" I said.

"But your body type is fine. You're not even fat, why bother having a diet? You look huggable and that's cute." he said. He's casually complimenting me and here I am doubting his words.

"So I'm fat because you said I looked huggable." 

"I said you're cute because you're huggable and that was exactly my type." He said then he smirked at me. I blushed from what he said so I turned my back at him while trying to calm myself down.

I looked at him straight in the eyes and said, "You're making my heart flutter today" He was shocked from what I said but still got quickly recovered from it. "I'm glad my compliments are working." and smiled at me.

He said his goodbye after he got a call from his secretary. 

While I was putting on a facial mask, I received a message from James. He sent a dm and I haven't read it. I open my ig to checked his message and I saw that he even replied to my recent ig story. 

naneunnana: Who is he?

naneunnana: I'm way more handsome than him, Sandy

That was his first messages to me. What is he talking about?  

He replied my ig story with, naneunnana: Aww, you missed me. I miss you too, hahaha. 

My ig story was Jaemin's recent post I shared on my story. 

I replied to him saying, 

sandysideup: Who are you talking about? 

sandysideup: I don't remember saying 'I miss you' to you

sandysideup: Oh you saw my comment on Jaemin's post! Dude you're funny!

sandysideup: Now you're not replying me! How dare you ghosting me! You can ignore me if your name is Jaemin! 

I got impatient from waiting his reply so I just wen to sleep. I can't believe that person inbox zoned me! Next time this dude call me, I won't answer it! I swear! Arggh, he's making me frustrated!
