Rule no.1 [Nct Jaemin]

Part 6

"What?" I said as I answered the call.

"You just woke up? I guess you left your phone with wifi on." Who am I talking to? I looked at my phone and it's James! The dude who ghosted me last night.

"You ghosted me last night. How dare you call me!" I said and he just laughed. 

"I was so tired last night so fall asleep while waiting for your reply. I'm sorry." He said. Why am I getting soft with just a simple sorry and explanation? Like, I don't even know him aside from the fact that he's an nctzen too!

"It's fine. Anyways, you said you'll let me see your face the next time you call!" 

I heard him chuckled before answering me. "You forgot the part that you should let me call you hon so that you can see my face. Hon, I'm already at your wallpaper, why bother asking me to see my face?" 

"My wallpaper is my bias, James. There's no way you look like Jaemin! You've been teasing me since we meet! Treat me for a lunch or I'll hunt you in front of your condo building!" 

"No, No, honey. I'm at work, you can't find me there. I'll be back next month." 

"Where are you then?" I asked.

"Seoul" I got taken a back from what he said. I'm starting to doubt this person more. If he's Jaemin I should've recognize his voice! But their smile are the same! Still, not enough proof to say that they're one person. 

"Okay, I'll wait next month. Treat me a lunch!" 

"Are you asking for a date?" He jokingly said.

"Ha-Ha-Ha, that's funny." I said while rolling my eyes, "I'll date you if-" I wasn't able to finish my words because he interrupted me. "Why I can't date you if my name is not Jaemin? But you can date that dude who gave you strawberry ice cream. Eeww." He really hates the ice cream this dude is funny!

"Sev is a friend and strawberry ice cream taste good, idiot!" 

"He's only a friend but can date you? How about me? I'm the boyfriend but I can't date you unless I change my name to Jaemin." He's clearly teasing me!

 "Last time I check I'm single!" I shouted.

"Oh, last time I check I got a girlfriend without me knowing and using my picture to shoo men away who asked for her number!" 

"Are you Jaemin?!" 

Why are we even shouting?

"What do you think,hmm?" 

"Stop messing around! Open the damn camera let me see your face then!" I demanded. I keep on losing my patience to this  guy!

"Allow me to call you hon, first!" 

"No way!"

"Then, no me!" 

"Arghh! You are making me mad! Bye!" I ended the call. I throw my phone at my bed and went to kitchen to cook food.

I entertained myself by watching kdrama while eating. I was actually just re watching Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, it's like my comfort series. I watch this every time I feel sad and frustrated over something. When my favorite scene appeared, I paused it and hurriedly go to my room to get my phone. I ready the camera for recording then play it again. After that I uploaded it on my ig story. I don't really care if people find me annoying for sharing this again, like dude it's my account can't I just be happy from it? 

My happy time got interrupted when my phone rang. I answered the call and let him speak first.

"I'm just going to apologize for making you mad a while ago. I promised to treat you a lunch once I got back. And wait for an announcement on twitter tomorrow, I know you'll get happy once you read it.-"  He paused for a while and then I heard someone shouted at the background, "Hyung, Let's start-" I heard some noise before he continue speaking. "I need to go now. Talk to you later, bye." He said with soft tone. 

He didn't even let me talk, at least he knows to apologize. The apology is making me feel guilty for not saying sorry too. I was wrong too. I shouldn't demanded him showing his face since it's his privacy. 

I, again, forgot the existence of time because I'm enjoying what I'm watching. I checked my phone for time and it's already 7pm! I started watching around 1pm and now, it's already night!

My classes will start at the first week of next month. I already visited the school I enrolled to. I am actually a incoming 3rd year Forensic Science student. Yes, I still decided to transfer here even though I'm at my 3rd year of College. I only have 2 years to find my relatives here. I want to know if my mother's parents still know about my existence. All my life it's only me, my Dad and Ria's family. My father is the only child. I meet grandpa and grandma every Christmas and  New Year, we always visit them when the holiday comes but sadly they passed away last year. My father doesn't know my real agenda or maybe he knew it that's why he doesn't me to go back here. He's clearly hiding something from me.

I decided to go to do some groceries since my pantry is almost empty. Once I got my own cart I quickly go to candy and junk food section to get my favorite gummy candy. I grabbed three packs of potchi and put it on  my cart. Since I got here, I always buy this because I always crave from strawberry flavored snacks. After getting the snacks I want, I started the real reason why I'm here. To get the important stuff that I really need.

When I completed my grocery shopping I decided to go to a book store to buy some books that I needed for school. I'm at the line waiting for my turn when I heard phone rings. James is calling me on ig. Why do I always forgot to log out?

I'm second in line and the person before me is about to finish. 

"Why? Can we just talk later?" I said. 

"Why I can't talk to you right now?" 

"I'm outside. I'm at the cashier and it's my turn now, can we just talk la-"

"I only have 10 minutes free time to talk to you so don't end this call."

"O-Okay. Wait for a minute I need to pay now"

I said thank you to the cashier after paying then go out of the store. 

"Are you still there?" I asked him. 

"Oh you're done? Where are you? at a mall?"

"Yeah...fuck, this is freaking heavy" 

"You're alone? Why are you cursing?" he asked.

"The books are heavy and yeah, I'm alone. I need to go back to grocery store because I left the things I bought." I explained.

"Ask some assistance if you can't handle all of it." he said

"Nah. I place it on a cart. It's really just the books, it's kinda heavy." I arrived at the store then I go straight to baggage counter. I put my books on the cart and use the escalator that will lead me to the parking lot of the mall.

"Oh, okay. Where are you now?"

"I'm at the parking lot, looking for my car."

I was putting the groceries at the trunk while we're talking on the phone. We stopped our conversation when someone was talking at him. They were talking in Korean and I can understand a bit of what they're talking about. I guess he needs to go back to his work and I don't know what that is. I also heard him calling me as his girl when the person asked him who is he talking to and I also heard people teasing him on the background.

"You told them I'm your girl" I said and he just laughed.

"I thought you can't understand Korean, hahaha. Did I lie tho?" I rolled my eyes from his response.

"Then turn the camera on." I lazily said and he just chuckled from it. 

"I need to go now. I'll call you again, okay? Bye, hon." and he ended the call
