Rule no.1 [Nct Jaemin]

Part 19

When I woke up it was already morning. The sun was shining brightly outside. I grabbed my laptop to check my emails. I checked my phone if he had ever sent me a message but I got nothing. Should I go there? I will just get my stuff. Yeah, I need to get my stuff. 

I arrived at his pad and no one was there. Did he leave or is he still sleeping? I walked into his kitchen but he was not there even in the living room. Did he go back to Seoul? I'm standing in front of the door to his room. I took a deep breath before turning the knob. No one was there. So he really leaves without us talking. I felt my tears are about to flow but I manage to stop them. I walk inside and roam around his room but to my surprise, I saw him lying on the floor. I panic and quickly went to him. 

"Jaemin!" He has a fever! He's wearing the same clothes as last night. 

"Sandy...Is that you?" he said with his eyes half-close 

"What happened?" I asked him but just answered with a smile.

"Don't just smile at me! Answer me, what happened?"

He didn't give me an answer. He just stood up and went to his closet. 

"Sorry about last night. I was wasted and uh... I got caught in rain last night." He said while trying to avoid my gaze. I went to him and made him sit down in his bed. I searched for clothes he can change into

"Hands up," I said and he just confusedly looked at me. 

"If you don't want to do that then remove your clothes and wear this." I handed him his clothes and turned my back on him.

"Are you done?" I asked.

"I...uh"  I cut him off. 

"Okay, I'll leave so that you can-" this time he was the one who cuts me off

"Help me. I cannot raise my arms."

He was just staring at me while I help him put his shirt on. 

"Help yourself and I'll cook you food." 

I cooked the soup that will help him to get better and went to the room I stayed in to check if I still have medicine in my pouch. Luckily, I still have medicine here. I went back to the kitchen and he was already sitting at the dining table. 

"You are supposed to be in your bed. Go back, I'll serve your food there." 

"I'll eat it here." He said. 

I sent a message to Ria that I'll stay here to take care of him. I went to check his temperature and he has gotten better. I wake him up to eat his dinner.

"Thank you. Are you going to stay here tonight?" 

"No. I'll go home after you eat your dinner." I lied.

"Can you stay? I want us to have a serious talk. I know it's my fault-" 

"Let's just talk when you're okay. Call your parents they might be worried about you." I said and went back to the kitchen.  

 He suddenly pulled me and sealed my lips with his. I tried pushing him but my heart completely betrayed me. He stopped when he realized I was already crying,

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disrespect you. I just... miss you so much that I might go crazy if you ignore me again" he looks so vulnerable while speaking. 

"And I might also go crazy thinking what we really are! Please tell me what am I. I'm weak when I'm with you. I couldn't think of the consequences we can get from this, I just want to treasure all the moments we have. But we cannot stay like that forever!" I stopped for seconds to calm myself and told him, "Go back to your bed and rest."
