"And what good will happen if I ever tell you?" she asked while looking dead into her father eyes. She didn't know how the hell the man manage to get in her house but that was less concern of her now. With her state, she knew she couldn't run away and her father hand was a gun loaded with bullets. It was what shocked Yerim first when she heard the commotion at the living room and then she saw her father, smiling wickedly at her.

"I have some good advice about your man, Min Yoongi. You will have think twice to even marry that man at the first place"

"And I will never even thought about hearing your advice, father. Get out before I call the police"

"I don't raise you to be this stupid and rude to me, Yerim. You better come here and follow me before I force you"

She was about to say something when the door burst opened, revealing Yoongi who was now holding a gun on his hand, aimed to her father and Yerim eyes went wide. Their eyes met before he looked back to the elder, firmly gripping the gun in his hand. "Get out, Jungshin. "

"Too bad, I wanted to kill you so bad I don't think I'm stepping out here any moment. Now you have a gun, where was it when I chased you that night?," he said sarcastically and scoffed before glancing at her daughter who seems clueless about the situation now. Yoongi instinct was right, Jungshin might kill her any moment by now, and he was just waiting for Jungkook to get out. For all this time, it was either Jungkook is here or the house was guarded enough that Jungshin couldn't pass through. Now that the guard was loose, and Jungkook wasn't here he knew it was just the right moment to kill her daughter.

Yoongi knew it was dangerous to not let the guards be here, but he thought it was his last chance to take down the man forever. He knew he shouldn't use his wife, that was why he rushed to get home and he was right. The man was here.

Before Yoongi could refute back, he shot a vase near Yerim which she screamed in surprise and fear. She almost stumbled to her side when Yoongi rushed to her side, pulling her to him and let out a bullet which missed Jungshin body by an inch. "Fuck," he cursed slowly while the old man laughed. His hold on her waist tightened, feeling the erratic heartbeat of hers an the rough breathing.

"I should have just killed you both that night, why did I even let a chance for you both to stay alive?," he said and twirled the gun in his hand before pointing it to the both of them. Yerim eyes met her father psychotic eyes, the same eyes that slapped her and her mother everyday before. The same satisfaction gaze he had when he punched her mother until she pass out. It was traumatising to see the same monster again, and she knew she could never run from her father even when she is in Yoongi arm. Now, even the man was going to be killed tonight.

She saw her father was getting ready to pull the trigger when the window behind them was smashed to piece, and even Yoongi was surprised. "Get down your kneels you mother fucker"

It was Taehyung, and from a distant they could hear a siren coming closer which bought Jungshin to be in bewilderment. How did they manage to have the police behind them? It was impossible for them to expose themselves to the police now. Jungshin looked back and met eyes to eye with Taehyung who was looking at him with emotionless eyes, which the man only scoffed.

"Don't tell me I have to kill three person by now?"

"Don't be such full of yourself. You are going to be dead soon"

"Then shoot me, boy. I would like to see you dirty your hands again, the both of us will end up in jail and your wife is going to be devastated again. What say you?"

Jungshin wasn't aware that Yoongi had placed down the gun, which was empty because it had only one bullet just to shoot Jungshin but that didn't happen. Looking at Yerim, he whispered that the woman jerked up at his voice. "I want you to close your eyes when I say so. Will you?"

She looked up tp him, bewilderment and fear played in her mind but he only smile at her softly. Pulling her head to his chest, he closed her eyes with his big palm and whispered one last time to her.

"Close your eyes Yerim, and don't look until I say so. Everything will be fine"

With that, she closed her eyes and didn't even peeked when Yoongi fingers covered her vision, but she heard everything. Sounds of police bombarding the house, gunshot was heard and someone groaned in pain with it. Then she heard the word ' Taehyung!,' which she wanted to look but Yoongi didn't let her to. It was chaotic for a while, and she don't know what was happening.

After some minutes, her vision came back and she saw Jungshin wasn't there anymore and Taehyung looked lost for a while with Jimin keep asking him question. Apparently the man was surprised that the police shot Jungshin before him. The police were scattered everywhere and a blood pool was in front of her, but there was no body. She was in trance until she realised she was held close to someone so she looked up to see Yoongi was already staring at her.

"You did well, and don't worry. No one died. The police shot your father shoulder, it just I don't want you to see those"

It ended for real?

"Your father won't abuse you anymore, nor getting closer to you. He won't be able to see you anymore Yerim. You are safe now"

Her misery and fear, it ended for real.
