Aru looked out the window. It was the day before Christmas and she was waiting for her friends to come. She was hosting a sleepover for the potatoes and the most exciting part; it was for the whole Christmas time.

"Aru, what happened to your promise of wearing the salwar kameez?" called her mother. She had promised her mom that she would wear the old salwar kameez in her closet. She reluctantly wore it and let her hair loose—that was the most formal she could get.

She heard the bell ring, someone was 30 minutes early. She opened the door to find Aiden in a red and green kurta and his camera hung by his side. She stared at him and he stared at her. After a few moments Aiden broke the silence and asked "Am I allowed to come in or should I just stay out here?"

Aru rolled her eyes. "Very funny, come in"

She closed the door behind him as he shoved his shoes aside.

"I was watching Lord of the Rings," she told him.

"Again?!" he exclaimed.

"Obviously, it's like the best movie in the history of movies."

"Wow Shah, wow."

She opened her mouth to retort when the doorbell rang again. She ran to the door only to see the other two Pandavas. They had their bags slung over their shoulders and were in the process of taking off their shoes. She greeted them and told them to come in.

They all went to the living room and Aru decided they should watch a movie. Mini suggested watching Inside Out but everyone dismissed the idea. Aru wanted to watch Lord of the Rings, but everyone groaned when she voiced her opinion.

"Aru, we've watched that movie like, 50 times!" exclaimed Brynne.

"She's got a point," Aiden said, giving Aru a pointed look.

"Fine" Aru grumbled, and the room grew silent as they all thought of what to watch.

"ENDGAME!"Aru shouted.

"What?" Mini asked, perplexed.

"We should watch Endgame," Aiden agreed.

"Ok then, we will watch Endgame. Whatever it is, it better be good." Brynne responded.

After the movie and dinner, Brynne decided they should play truth or dare. It was one of Aru's favorite games because she got to know others' secrets and tease them about them.

"Ok, who's going first?" asked Brynne.

"I'll go," Mini answered, albeit hesitantly.

"Who is going to ask her?" asked Aru.

"I want to ask," said Brynne eagerly.

"Okay."

"Truth or dare?"

"Uh, dare" said Mini.

"Okay, I dare you to tell me Aru's most embarrassing secret."

"Wha—"

"BETRAYAL!!" shouted Aru, pointing at Mini.

"I DARE YOU MINI!" Brynne said loudly over Aru's protests.

Mini whimpered but reluctantly agreed.

"Aru's darkest and most embarrassing secret is when she broke Shakura's mirrors to get us across the Bridge of Forgetting, and then she got cursed. That was why she cold defeat the Sleeper"

"Wow out of all the things, that was what you thought my most embarrassing secret was?" asked Aru.

Brynne patted Aru on the back and said that she was brave while Aiden . . . stared at her. He smiled.

"Wow Shah, remind me to never fight with you," he said, eyebrows raised.

"That makes me feel a lot better, thanks!" she said sarcastically.

"Aru, don't make me remind you that you've taken the Sleeper on your own," argued Mini.

"And failed."

"No, you almost beat him when you were new to this Pandava stuff, and alone."

"I—uh—" Aru ducked her head, at a loss for words.

"Told you," Mini said smugly.

"Okay, getting off topic here" said Brynne, clapping her hands. They continued on with the game.

"Aiden, it's your turn" Mini exclaimed
