Before I start writing the story I would like to give credit to @thatonetightshoe for the idea of this story! Thank you so much!!!! Kara is good in this and let's pretend she never betrayed the Potatoes. (Some changes to the story tho)

Kara's POV

"It's finished!" Kara laughed, It had been years after their dad had left them, leaving the Museum in pieces. Aru and Kara had worked almost 1 year fixing it and finally their work paid off.

"When are we going to open it for visitors?" Aru asked still looking up at the quartz Museum.

"How about...Next week on Monday?"

"That works, I'll invite the guests"

"Sure"

TIME SKIP TO THE OPENING

ARU'S POV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I can't believe it's happening!" Kara squealed "Aru, go give everyone a tour of the place. I shall handle the financiers and reporters. Just please do not screw this up?" Aru nodded, screwing this up would be like dumping water on Kara in front of everyone which would only result in Aru being six feet under the ground.

"Yes Ma'am" Aru replied as she saluted. Kara just rolled her eyes. People swarmed the place as if we were giving away free diamonds. Aru took them group by group until there was only one group left. This group consisted of the reporters and photographers who were going to put out the opening on the front page. When Aru looked at the time, she was already 5 minutes late for the tour. Do NOT screw this up Aru, Aru thought do it for- . Aru's thoughts were interrupted when she saw a boy, a little older than her with brown hair and chocolate eyes. Her heart raced as her mind stopped and when he made eye contact, her heart thumped and ran 50 meters in a second. The mysterious boy held up a camera as he began taking photos of his surroundings.

"S..So, Welcome to the Museum of Indian Arts" Was that even the name of the Museum Aru thought. No problem. Just avoid him and we will be fine, I will be fine. "I, Aru Shah, am going to be your tour guide for this evening, hope you enjoy!"

Aru talked her mouth off about different artifacts and ancient relics as she tried to avoid the boy. This was what she loved and she would do it a thousand more times. Spreading the word about Indian culture was exciting as she saw different peoples face light up about different things. When Aru finally finished, closing the guide, the reporters bombarded her with questions.

"When will you be getting more artifacts?"

"How do you like this job?"

"How did you get started?"

But the one that struck me the most was asked by a tall man in his 40's.

"I heard that the Museum had closed once before this? Why?" Apparently anxiety had to kick in and I started to stutter.

"Um..Well...you see-" I was suddenly grabbed by Kara. After saving me from the worst possible question in history she told me something else that could have been the worst statement in history.

"A really cute boy is waiting for you outside" At first it didn't seem that bad, but when I found out who it was, I stopped in my tracks. It was the mysterious boy from the tour.

"H..hey!" He said, stuttering "I'm Aiden Acharya. Photographer from The Times . "

"Oh...hello!" I replied blushing for no absolute reason. This was NOT the Aru I know . "My name is Aru Shah"

"I am quite aware of that" I flushed at his bluntness.

"So, What do you want"

"Getting straight to the point are we?"

I flushed even more, if that was possible.

"You were five minutes late" Aiden said

"A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early; he arrives precisely when he means to." Aru quotes from Lord of the Rings.

"You're a wizard now huh?" Aru could feel his smirk even when she was 2 feet apart from him.

"That's not the point"

"You called me Frodo Baggins"

"Bu-" At that time Aidens phone rang

"I need to pick this up" He said apologetically. Aru nodded trying not to feel sad that their conversation was over. After it was over he scribbled something on a piece of paper and gave it to me. As he ran out of the room.

Call me ;)
