After the night Kiyata encountered his old friend, he tried to focus on his daily training and learning. However, his mind was unsure about what N-17 said as it made him feel rather uneasy about a lot of things. He tried not to show it to Akisame and the others but with more days passing, it became rather clear that something was troubling him. When it came to his training with his quirk with Toshinori, he saw that something was troubling him and decided to speak with him after Midoriya left.

Toshinori: What's on your mind, Kiyata?

Kiyata stayed quiet as he looked at the ground with his ears flopped down. Toshinori saw this and was rather concerned.

Toshinori: Did something happen recently? You seem to have something on your mind.

Kiyata didn't say anything for a while. Toshinori sat down next to him as he looked at him.

Toshinori: You can tell me what's on your mind.

Kiyata looked at him for a moment before looking back down at the ground.

Kiyata: Met old friend. Confused.

Toshinori: An old friend? Said rather curious. Who was it exactly?

Kiyata: N-14. Like me. Different though.

Toshinori: Like you? Do you mean there are others like you aside from the TIgrex?

Kiyata nodded in response.

Kiyata: Use to be humans. Monsters now. N-14 hates heroes. Wants me go with him.

Toshinori: That so, huh. Sounds like you two had a rather interesting conversation.

Kiyata: Yeah. Said rather sad.

Toshinori saw how Kiyatawas feeling and was a bit concerned for him.

Toshinori: You're conflicted by what your friend said, aren't you?

Kiyata nodded in response.

Kiyata: What do?

Toshinori: Well, that is for you to decide on what you want to do.

Kiyata: What do I want? Said looking at him rather confused.

Toshinori: That's right. Everyone in the world has the choice of what they want to do.

Kiyata looked at him rather curious about this.

Toshinori: Think of as this way, you wanted to help Young Miodirya by having him train at Ryozanpaku. That was your choice you made of wanting to help him.

Kiyata: My choice?

Toshinori: That's right. You didn't have to help him but you wanted him to get into UA. As such, you chose to help him to finish training her and get a start off learning some Martial Art skills that can be helpful.

Kiyata stayed quiet as he looked at the ground in front of him.

Toshinori: You have roughly five months or so left before the exam. There will indeed be a lot of people who will try to belittle you and look down on you. However, you can prove them wrong and show them who you really are with the choices make.

Hearing this made Kiyata feel a little bit better. However, he recalled when he first came to the city and tried to kill him.

Kiyata: I try to kill you.

Toshinori: True you try to but that wasn't your choice. You had a device attached to your head forcing you to do that.

Kiyata: Still monster. Said rather sad. Freak.
