your frog-like classmate tsuyu had been rather down today. she wasn't smiling and curious like her usual self, instead she had been   rather sad, lips twisted into a pout. you notice this and decided up you'd go check on her when the school day is over.

aizawa sensei finally dismissed the class and everyone was allowed to return to height alliance and rest for the day. you walked to your designated room before denki hollered at you from the other end of the corridor. "yo y/n! mario kart night at bakugo's tonight" "thanks man but i got something to do tonight" you turned the yellow haired boy with a sheepish smile.

he flashes a quick pout before dragging his feet back into his room. you felt bad but you knew tsuyu needed someone to count on and you hated seeing your friend sad.

you take a quick shower and slipped into a hoodie and a pair of joggers. you grab your sketchbook and a few pencils before heading over to the girls dorms. you felt nervous for a little bit since you never really spend much time here unlike your degenerate of a classmate mineta.

you scan the area a little making sure the grape head wasn't here creeping on the girls. you sigh in relief once you confirmed he wasn't.

you knocked on tsuyu's door and soon she appeared in front of you. her usually bow tied hair was now in a messy bun almost as big as her entire head. "y/n? do you need anything?" she asked, her finger on her bottom lip as she tilts her head. she always did that when asking questions.

"hey tsuyu, are you o- do you want to draw together?" you held your sketchbook and pencils up. you figured that she didn't need someone to give her unsolicited support but instead, company. her eyes beamed for a second as she nods with a sweet smile.

you walk into her room which was decorated in green accents. "it's so...green in here!" you giggle. "kerroo, heh i do like green" her hands fumbling the hem of her shirt.

you sit yourself on her carpeted floor, green carpet of course.

"what do you want to draw?" she asks as she grabs her own sketchbook and supplies from her desk, placing them in front of you before sitting cross legged. "you like insects and bugs right? i had been taking pictures of koda's bug friends so i thought i'd draw them with you" you smile, handing her your phone full of pictures of bugs and insects of all sorts.

"this one is pretty" she shows you a picture of a bee, harvesting pollen from a flower. "okay let's draw that one" you laid on your stomach as you flip to an empty page on your sketchbook, tsuyu following suit.

you two laid in silence drawing the little bug on your phone, tsuyu significantly more skilled than you are. her pencil glided across the paper with ease, you admire the half drawn bug on her book. she looks at you and smiles. "y/n, thank you for this! i had been a little sad today and this really makes me feel better"

you return the smile, "of course, i did notice that. do you want to talk about it?" you ask her casually.

"well, i've been missing my family. my siblings especially. dorm life is fun but.. i miss them." she said sounding sad. she drops her pencil and stares at her drawing. "winter is also coming and i've been feeling rather sluggish lately" a dragged out croak followed after. almost like a sigh.

she'd mention before how close she is with her siblings. it must be hard feeling homesick and feeling the season change on you all at once. a mental lightbulb flickered in your head and you had an idea on helping her feel better.

"hey it's a saturday tomorrow, how about we go visit your family? i'll come with and you can introduce me to your siblings." you sat up, smiling.

her eyes gleamed with joy, "really? i've been wanting to visit but nobody could take me there! thank you y/n" her eyes smiling with her as she pulls you into a hug.

you pat her back before pulling your chest away from her. "do you want to continue drawing or do you wanna go do something else? "something else?" she croaked. — "denki and the guys are playing mario kart at bakugo's, wanna go give that a shot?" you offered.

why not kill two birds with one stone right?

she paused for a moment with her finger on her lips again before nodding eagerly.

"great, let's go!" you stood up and held the door for her.—you two walked over to bakugo's planning your trip to her house tomorrow. you opened the door to bakugo's room before sticking your head in.

"who's leading?" you ask, smirking. tsuyu behind you, on her tippy toes. "Y/N!!!...and tsuyu?" "tsuyu wants to try out mario kart" you sit yourself down on the bean bag one of the boys had brought in from their room, grabbing a controller from the floor. tsuyu waves at the boys and croaks.

"ehhh the more the merrier, i'm still gonna be beating your ass tho frog face" a focused bakugo said as he hands tsuyu an extra controller eyes glued to the screen.

she giggles as she sits next to you awaiting for the next round. you smile at her and give her a thumbs up.
