I had come over early that morning to borrow a book from Raven, but that turned out to be a mistake. Because Adam had a habit of singing in front of his magic mirror every morning. I was currently sitting on Raven's bed with my earphones in as I hear Adam sing. Finally, Raven had enough. "Oh, hey, Adam. Could you not sing in the morning?" Raven asks him, quite sweetly in my opinion. This earned him a chuckle.
"Oh, you big kidder." Adam says to Raven before glancing over at me. He was unaware that I saw his glance. I had my earphones in but they weren't playing anything. "Mirror, mirror, so smart and cool, who's the fairest at this school?" He questions his magic mirror kindly. I snorted before I placed my hand on Raven's shoulder, and quickly left. Not hearing the magic mirror claims me as fairest at the school.
But it was almost ten minutes later when I returned to the dorm that I shared with Ceder. I sighed as Ceder opened the door and a familiar voice sounded. It was Adam and he sounded almost panicked. "(y/n)! Can you come to look at my magic mirror? I've been everywhere for a mirror!" He begs. I reluctantly sigh and get off of my bed. They caught sight of me, practically half-dressed in a tank top and track pants.
I looked at the two of them for a couple of minutes then sighed. "I'll do it. But I want one of your jackets." I say closing the door before adjusting my bra and following the two. When we reached the room, Raven headed to his closet and dug out a jumper that was going to be huge on me. I popped it over my head and snuggled it for a sec and then approached the mirror. I sighed again before rubbing my brow. I felt ridiculous.
"Mirror, Mirror on the wall, whose the fairest of them all?" I ask the mirror, feeling stupid. "Not you! Not with the bird nest in your head!" It snarls at me and I snort at it. I started laughing because that was the lamest insult in the world. I had gotten a good hair day, not a hair out of place in my braided bun that I was going to leave for sword practice later. I then turned to Raven with a grin.
"Awful spell you accidentally cast there, Rave." I giggle at him and he looks almost dumbfounded. I laughed and waved at the two as I rushed to the door. "I'm sure Adam will ask you to make it up somehow." I call to him as I rush off to get ready for sword practice. When I got back to my I found a package on my bed with a card. I read the card and smiled as I opened the package and pulled on the jumper only thinking of Adam's note.
Raven says keep the jumper. And you can keep mine too ~ Adam
