It was the last class of the day for me and I was literally in the worst class at Ever After High. Professor Rumpelstiltskin always had an uncomfortable classroom. It was either too hot or too cold and the chairs were always uncomfortable. Today, it was warm in the classroom. On top of the sun shining through the windows, Professor Rumpelstiltskin had turned on the heater. But the cherry on top of this P.O.S class was...
"You heard correctly, Raven Queen." He shouted at him, all the while waving around his ridiculous wooden ruler. Adam was the next one to speak out about how unfair our situation was now, and everyone soon followed his lead. "You can't test us on chapters one through thirty-four." Ashlynn tells Professor Stiltskin. And additionally, it was quite unrealistic, seeing as we had only studied up to chapter two.
Which Dexter thankfully points out. At least I was good at the class, always getting Bs and As. But I always asked for extra credit. "I cannot tell a lie, and well, that...that's just not very nice." Cedar tells Professor Stiltskin as he begins to laugh manically. So, everyone planned a study party over at Thorne's dorm room. Raven invited me, but I didn't go. I didn't really have a problem. However, there were a couple of people who hadn't been in Professor Stiltskin's class before.
And when students fail, as they often did when he gave it an insanely hard test at the start of the year, all the students have to ask for extra credit. Which was just spinning straw into gold for him, a thing I had gotten rather good at since even when I set the curve, I always asked for extra credit. There was something soothing about spinning the straw into the bright strands of gold. And they were all at Thorne's because he was good at studying.
And I thought everything was going great until I got a phone call from Cedar. "Hello? Shouldn't you be studying?" I ask her as I put my phone on speaker to dig through my wardrobe for a jumper. And I found one. One that just so happened to be the hoodie Adam gave me. "Got anything for waking up sleeping princes?" Cedar questions as I pull the hoodie over my head and chuckle a little as I pull one arm through a sleeve.
"I'll be up soon, stay on the line so I can find you." I tell her as I pack up my things. I shove them all in a book bag before I start heading towards the boy's dorms. When I arrived, I hung up on Cedar, giving her a hug before laughing at the snoozing Thorne. "You tried kissing him awake?" I jokingly ask Cedar, who shakes her head with a blush as I approach Thorne. I kneeled down in front of him and studied him a little.
Apparently, they had tried the sound of books shutting, Daring's teeth, and Blondie's holograph of a brown bear roaring. Their last option was to call me. I then look around until I find a speaker with a Mirror phone attachment. "Play to the audience." I told them before I hooked up my phone to the speaker and pressed play on one of my favorite playlists. Within minutes of me pressing play Thorne was wide awake.
"Oh, hey (y/n). I thought Cedar said you were staying in tonight." Thorne shouts over the music and I smiled at him, a giggle in my words as I shake my head. I take a seat on the table right in front of him. "What's up?" He asks me as he looks around at everyone, pulling his sunglasses off his nose. According to Cedar, they had fallen down his face when Daring had shot him his bright, white smile. Everyone else was just pleased that Thorne was finally awake.
"You, finally. But now, you need to stay awake and help us." Raven tells him as I nod, reaching over and plucking Thorne's sunglasses right from his head. I placed them on my nose before I sat back on my palms. "And I'll even stick around. After all, you all summoned me here." I joke tilting my head a little so that I can look over the top of the glasses at Cedar. She snickered and then I rolled my eyes and gave a mischievous grin.
"After all, I'd rather hang out with you lot than get high." I joke. Everyone besides Cedar and Raven choked on their spit. After all, the two knew me so well that they knew I would never get high. I laughed at the looks on everyone's faces as Cedar shook her head at me. So for the rest of the night we had a study party, according to Thorne. and when we got in the next day we all got As on the quiz. But as always, I stuck my hand in the air.
"Professor Rumpelstiltskin? Is there any chance I can get some extra credit?"
