One : Meeting my mate?

"Lilly are you ready for school?" my mother yells up the stairs. "Almost mother." I hollor back.
I check myself in my mirror, grab my phone and see my many texts from my best friend, alexis who's just as excited as I am about our first day as seniors in high school.
We've been best friends since we found out we we're both wolf shifters. Our family's don't know and we don't exactly plan on telling them. The only people we tell are the people we can smell who are other wolfs.
Today as I drive toward alexis' house, my wolf is jumping for joy but she's also screaming at me to find a mate. I push her down wondering if I even want a mate. I laugh to myself, of course I do, just not right now.
I reach alexis' house and she jumps into the car. I drive off toward ivy high ready to start our last year there.

Alexis and I say goodbye as we part toward classes.
My heads down and I'm looking at my phone when I bounce off something hard. I look up into the eyes of cody taylor, only the hottest wolf in school. My wolf is screaming mate, mate, at me until I push her down.
"Umm sorry I was looking at my phone and didn't see you there". He brushes a stray hair behind my ear. "It's ok probably hurt you worse". He lifts up his shirt showing me his six pack. My wolf is jumping around still screaming mate, I push her down again.
Cody pushes me against the locker and looks into my eyes. There's a trace of yellow glinting in his eye as his wolf threatens to break free. Then in a flash my lips are attacked by his and before I know it I'm kissing him back with the same passion and my body's heating up. He pulls away and just looks into my eyes. "Let me go". I demand. He chuckles."Only if you go on a date with me ". "Um no not gonna happen your the biggest player in school". Hurt flashes in his eyes the quickly leaves. "But I'm your mate I know you feel it to you have to our wolfs don't lie". "No and that's it" with that I walk off putting an extra swing in my walk.

Codys POV

I punch my fist into the wall. Pissed that I was rejected by my mate, but I refuse for this to be over. I will fight for my mate.
I run outside with rage boiling in me. I have no choice but to shift.
My wolf is as black as night with a few sliver specks. I take off running into the woods behind the school. Enjoying the way the wind feels on my fur and how my paws pound the cool dirt below me.
I lean my head back and howl a loud, mournful, determined cry.

Lilly's POV

    I'm sitting in class when a howl pierced the air. Being the only wolf in my class, besides the teacher, I'm the only one to hear it and realize its cody's. I raise my hand.
    "Yes Lilly?" The teacher asks. "May I be excused please?" "Yes you may".She nods giving me a knowing smile. I smile back and walk out of the room. Once outside I quickly strip my clothes and shift. My wolf is tall pure white with emerald green eyes. I take off running into the woods following codes scent trail, I take my time enjoying the way the wind ruffles my fur and the way the cool earth feels beneath my paws. When I catch up with cody I see him cornered by two wolfs I smell our from my pack. I jump in the middle just as they were about to attack. I pull my lips back showing my teeth and grow, they cower in submission and roll over exposing there necks to me. I give a nod and they run off. I turn to Cody and stand stall showing off my wolf form. He stands straightens himself then feels himself lowering to the ground as his wolf wants to be submissive. Sensing an alpha in the area. He lowers himself to the ground rolls over and exposes his neck. Satisfied I nod and he stands up. I walk over a stack off clothes hidden in the bushes grab them with my teeth and toss them and his feet, I grab some for myself get dressed then turn to him as he walks out of the bushes. " why are you here" cody whispers " because I heard your howl and my wolf made me reliaze I was being foolish and should give you a chance you are my mate" " why did those wolfs run when you came" " because I'm there alpha" "so my mate is a female alpha" "yea If you got a problem with it then leave" " no no I think it's sexy" he grabs me and pulls me into a firey kiss. When he pulls away he looks at me "Lilly hope peeve I claim you as my mate and I'm gonna mark you on everyday possible" I giggle thinking he's joking but then I look into his eyes and see he's not I swallow and whisper " your serious aren't you" he holds my chin in his hands. " I'm serious do u not want me to" " no it's not that I don't want you to it's just I've never you know done anything" he chuckles and brushes a strand hair behind my ear " it's ok Ive never ethier" " really i thought you would have" I feel my face heat up as I say this. " I know I have a bad reputation but it's over I've met my mate and I'm happy" I smile and walk up to him wrap my arms around him and bring my lips to his he kisses me back and I feel his tounge asking for entrance. I smile against his lips and open my mouth allowing his tounge access. Our tounges moveimg together perfectly. I pull away and breathlessly whisper " we better get back to school before my pack goes insane looking for me" he smiles " ok" he leans I and kisses my forehead " Come on mate let's get going" I smile me and my wolf happy at being called his mate we walk back toward the school through the woods holding hands.
