- A M E L I A P A R K E R -
I start opening up all the cabinets to get all the ingredients I need to make dinner. Milo really likes spaghetti, so I'm going to make it again. I had to look up a video on YouTube on how to make it and needless to say that I actually did a really good job.
I mentally pat myself on the back.
Turning on the stove to start boiling the water for the pasta, I lean against the counter and watch Milo in the living area drawing in his book. I smile to myself and turn my head to Grayson to see him staring at me. He looks from the living area then back to me and starts walking up to me. I'm guessing he was checking if Milo was looking because he tends to get a beating from the little boy every time he tries to make a move on me.
Shivers are running down my spine the closer he gets to me and I quickly turn around and focus on the water boiling. I feel hands sneak up my waist and then he's laying his chin on my shoulder, looking over me to also watch the water boil.
"This is nice." I sigh in content and lean into him. He's so big and I feel so comfortable in his embrace. I also can't deny the familiarness he brings me which both frightens and excites me. I don't know why he seems so familiar but I'm excited to find out.
"It is." He takes in a deep breath and snuggles his head more into my neck. I feel a small kiss where my neck and shoulder meet and my eyes flutter close. This is really nice. I feel weird.
I open my eyes to see the boiling water about to overflow over the pan. I quickly turn down the temperature on the shove and walk over to grab the pasta. Grayson is still clung onto me as I'm making dinner and I honestly don't mind at all.
He would press occasional butterfly kisses all along my neck and it would cause my thighs to press harder together.
Oh I have dirty thoughts now.
My entire body feels like it's on fire whenever he touches me like that.
I turn my head to the living area to check on Milo and I see that he's completely oblivious to what's going on in the kitchen. Grayson must be relieved. I don't know how many punches he can take to the shin again.
Dinner is now finished and I pour a good amount in three bowls. Grayson grabs his bowl and I grab the other two and start walking to where Milo is on the floor. I sit down on the couch and Milo follows sitting next to me and makes grabby hands for the bowl of spaghetti. I laugh and hand it to him. I watch him for moment as he eats his dinner and I look across from me to see Grayson looking at me. I blush and start digging into my food.
A few hours has passed and Milo is now passed out on the couch, so I pick him up and take him to my room to sleep. I head back to the living area to see Grayson looking at Milo's coloring book.
"He loves coloring." I tell him as I start flipping through the pages. "He also does some sketches of animals, mainly dogs and cats. He told me he waned a dog and I was like we have no where to put it." I laugh quietly as I skim through his cute little sketches.
Grayson sits next to me to get a closer look of Milo's sketches.
"Do you like to draw?" I suddenly ask looking up into his bottomless gorgeous green eyes that I always seem to get lost in.
There's a long minute of silence before he says his answer, "I use to." He looks back down to the book.
It was so close to a whisper that I almost didn't hear him.
"And you don't like to anymore?" It was more of a question than a statement because quite frankly, I don't know much about Grayson and I want to learn as much as I can.
