- G R A Y S O N W O L F E -
I watch Lia and she sleeps on the lounge chair with Milo cuddled at her side. Is it bad that I'm jealous of a fucking kid for sleeping with Lia? I flip my joint between my fingers not lighting it up since I'm on the plane. We're about to land when I get a call from my father.
"Father." I say into the phone once I left to the back of the plane.
"Are you almost here?" He gruffly says. I roll my eyes at him being so impatient.
"Yes, we're about to land."
"Good. We have a lot of discuss once you get here, like the issue with Jonathan Parker. Have you found any other information?"
I gulp down the golf ball sized air stuck in my throat. I plan on telling him about Lia once I land and make it to my childhood home. I know my father, he may be a ruthless Don but he has morals and he knows Lia. He will help.
"I have. I'll tell you everything once I see you." He gives me a firm grunt before hanging up. I pocket my phone and run my fingers through my hair a couple of times before going back to my seat.
The speakers beep and a voice comes out.
"We're about to land please buckle up and stay in your seats."
Lia jumps at the loud speaker but Milo is still sound asleep next to her. I buckle up in my original seat and just stare at her.
"We're about to land?" I give her a nod and she smiles wide and I can't help but smile too.
"I don't remember much about Italy because I was so young but I remember it being so nice. I wonder if that cafe with all the vines on it is still there? Oh hopefully that park is still there too and not abandoned.—"
I listen to her go on and on about what she hopes to find in Italy and what she remembers from when she was a young girl. I listen to every detail. She's mentioned a lot of moments with us and my heart beats a bit faster at the sight of her smiling and blushing at the memories. I hate what's she been through and what's she's going through now, but I've never been happier knowing that she has all her memories back. The fact that everything that her father did to her made her even lose her memories in the first place makes my blood boil. I drift off when she starts talking to the now conscious Milo.
"You never told me why we're bringing Lia." Michael says when he sits down next to me.
"I don't have to tell you everything." I say bluntly. I feel the plane it the ground as we're slowing to a stop.
Lia picks up Milo as we get off the plane and into the blacked out Cadillac. It's about a two hour drive to my childhood home and Milo passed out yet again. I look to Lia to see that she's looking out the window in awe. I keep watching her until I feel a shove at my arm. I look to my side to see Michael wiggling his eyebrows at me.
I swear I'm gonna kill him one day.

I'm now carrying Milo because Lia kept complaining how heavy he was getting. I groan when I feel his little arms wrap tightly around my neck. Lia is just looking at me with a huge smile on her face. I roll my eyes and grab her hand as we start walking to the big mansion that I grew up in.
"Woah." Is all Lia says when the doors are opened for us. I hand Milo back to Lia to go find my father but then I hear a loud gasp and then quick footsteps.
"My son has come home!" I hear my mother scream as she runs up to me and pulls me into her arms.
"I've missed you my sweet boy." She lets me go to cup my face. She then glares at me and smacks me up side the head. "Are you fucking smoking again!?" My mother takes another whiff of my clothes and smacks me again.
