Chapter 21

My heart sank all the way down to my feet when the line went dead. I didn't even care to tell my men what was said through the phone, all I care about right now was getting to Lia. Both Michael and D saw the look on my face and knew something was wrong. I left and they followed me outside and jumped in the car with me.

I was going 50 over not giving a fuck if a cop gets on my ass. Let them fucking try.

"Grayson what the fuck is going on what happened?" Michael asks me frantically.

I don't bother answering, he knows it's about Lia and that I will do anything to get to her.

Once we get to the park, I don't even bother turning off my car. I put that shit in park and start sprinting to the lake with D and Michael behind me with their guns out. I'm running through trees and stumps on the floor that I nearly trip on as I start hearing the water.

"Lia!" I yell once I make it to the lake. I'm running all around to find her. I go tear through the canopy and look under the bed. She's not here. She's not any-fucking-where.

"Fuck!" I scream and flip the record player on the floor. I walk out with my hands ripping through my hair as I try to think.

Who the fuck took her?!

My thoughts are cut off by D's voice. "Grayson!"

I look up and see Milo in his arms. Shit. I run to D and take the kid out of his arms so I can hold him myself. He's crying and screaming as I hold him to my chest.

"Milo did you see what happened?" Michael gently asks the little boy.

I sit down on the grass with Milo on my lap as I try to wipe away some of his tears.

"Milo, you need to tell me what happened." I plead. I swear if anything happened to Lia I will burn this mother fucking place down with everyone in it.

"They...They took...h-her" He says between hiccups.

"Who took her?" Now it was D who asked.

"The men who were with us! They took Emmy!" Milo then lets out a loud cry and wipes his snotty nose on my shirt.

Stay calm Grayson.

I look up at D and speak, "Find out who was with them now!" He gives me a firm nod as I get up with Milo still in my arms and we all start heading back to the car.

"What the fuck happened?!" My mother yells at us when she sees Milo still sobbing in my arms. Her screaming causes my father to run out with a gun in his hand.

"What the fuck is going on?!" My dad is next to yell.

Yep and you see where I get my mouth from.

"Lia's been kidnapped." I say as I walk into the living room. My mother then runs up to me to grab Milo and I let her.

"What do you mean she's been kidnapped?" My dad hisses out. My anger is rising more and more and I end up kicking the glass coffee table over which causes it to shatter on the floor.

"I mean she was fucking kidnapped!" I snap back. Michael steps up next to me and places a hand on my shoulder to try to calm me.

"The two guys who were with her weren't our men. They took her and left Milo alone for us to find."

I'm now pacing around the room trying my hardest not to go fucking ballistic.
