Chapter 4 - Jean

It's a new day, a new morning, your second day at work in your dream company.

"Life is amazing, get up y/n and sing to the music of the early birds chirping~"

You mentally told yourself. You got out of your bed, feeling very refreshed and ready to start a new and hopefully productive day.

And the best motivation is to stare at your body in the huge mirror you have right in front of your apartment bed.

You did work hard for your body after all. So you do the exact same. You prance upto your full size mirror and twirl around, admiring your body even though it isn't perfect.

"No bloating, early morning flat tummy, I look so toned. Probably because I had a light dinner last night."

After a good two minutes of analysing your entire body, you decide to focus on your face.

"Let's step in closer shall we"

You take a closer look and immediately notice something that isn't supposed to be there.

"WHAT THE!?- OH MY GOODNESS IS THAT AN INSECT BITE?"

You make an annoyed expression while fiddling with the noticeable purple mark under your jaw.

"Wait… no no no no.. Just when I thought I was having a GrEaT dAy EREN YEAGER DECIDES TO FUCK IT UP"

You look at how big the mark is. You will probably have to cover it up somehow, if you don't want yourself to be the hot topic for gossip at work.

"It fucking is a damned insect bite. From that huge nasty walking pest of a man child."

You grumble your way into the shower and quickly get ready to head out since you do not want to risk being late again.

As usual, you drive yourself to your favourite cafe and grab a (f/d) to start the day. You also grab (f/bf) breakfast to eat  in your office later. And with that, you leave for work.

As you step in, you are greeted by your coworkers; Armin, Jean and Ymir.

"Welcome back y/n!"
"Good morning gorgeous~"
"Congratulations for being on time today."

"Good morning everyone! All of you look great today! Seeing you guys literally makes my day, unlike an insect that often roams around here" You say the last part under your breath.

"What was that? Do you have a phobia of pests or something?" The brunette queried.

"Uh.. Yeah something of that sort… heheh.." You laughed nervously.

"Hey y/n! You should join us for lunch today! We'll take you to our favourite place!" The blonde suggested.

"I'll be more than happy to join you guys, see you at lunch then?"

"Great! Sure!"

"Looks like someone's way too excited to be spending time with you y/n" Ymir said, eyeing Jean who is punching the air in victory.

It is currently 12 o'clock and you are already on your third dose of caffeine, struggling to keep awake, as you work through some documents.

("I shouldn't have eaten the entire thing that i got. I always feel so sleepy after eating. Focus y/n focus." )

As you give yourself a pep talk, you hear a knock on the door.

"Yes? Please come in."

A way too familiar face enters your office.
