You rushed out of bed and manage to receive the 55th call just in time.
"HELLO?!"
"h-hi..."
"WHAT IS IT?"
"Check my text, you need to hurry to the location I've sent right away"
"HUH? Why?..hold on.."
You immediately opened the message.
Your eyes went wide as you read what's on your screen.
"A-are you being serious right now!?"
Your voice cracked
"Yeah, y/n"
"I-Im coming right away"
You hung up.
With a pained expression and mixed feelings of worry and confusion plastered onto your face, you held in the tears as you rushed towards your destination.

Tears welled up in your eyes.

"Hey... it's okay... I understand, atleast just please have something.. you've not eaten since morning.. boss wouldn't like his favorite employee to be on an empty stomach now would he?"
"I guess.. but I-Im not his favorite.."
"Yes you are. Now wipe those tears and I'll go get something.
Will you be alright?"
"Y-yeah.."
Of course not. You weren't alright. Far from it. Not when the flashbacks of last night haunt your conscience.
How you purposely made him upset, despite noticing how he clenched his fist in frustration, how he wasn't even able to walk on his own, you still didn't care.
If anyone is to be blamed for what has happened to him..

Just then the door slid open and a squad of doctors dispersed
Hopefully everything is fine
"Please be fine, Eren"

"The operations have been successful, he should be able to walk in a couple of days, after he wakes up."
"Oh my god"
"He made it!"
You weren't in a condition to utter words right now but your heart finally calmed down as soon as you heard the news.
"But... there's bad news too..."
Your heart broke
"He is not waking up...
And we suspect it might take days or even..
weeks..."
