Mabilis kong tinulak si Thaira ng halikan niya ako sa labi.

What the fuck is wrong with this woman?!

"Ano ba Thaira?!"

"What? Patuloy kong ipagsisiksikan ang sarili ko sayo Alexis kung patuloy mo rin akong bubulagin sa mga kasinungalingan mo."  Naikuyom ko naman ang kamay ko.

"What do you fucking want, huh?! Napupuno na ako sayo, ano ba ang hindi mo maintindihan na matagal na tayong wala, it's all in the past! At kailanman hinding-hindi na yun maibabalik o maaayos." Naiinis kong sigaw sakanya.

"Then tell me the truth. I know you too well, Alexis. It's always your damn ego, ganyan mo rin ako nakuha dati diba? Maswerte lang ako kasi naging tayo talaga, but that nurse? I dont think so." Natigilan naman ako at magkasalubong ang kilay na nakatingin sakanya.

"Shut up, Thaira."

"What? Did I hit something?" Fuck!

"You want the truth? Fine! Hindi nga kami ni Rizzel, I was just using him to get rid of you, and yes, from the start it was all my pride that I want to pester him, to pursue him, to make him fall for me. Tulad mo dati, he did not sway with my charm, but--

Napatigil ako at huminga ng malalim.

"---but that was from the start. I never thought that I'd be the one who will get caught by my wheeze. Rizzel is something." Napabuntong-hininga ako at seryoso siyang tiningnan.

"So what if the feelings are not mutual." Mahina akong natawa at napakibit-balikat.

"Well, I don't care if he likes me or not. But one thing I'm sure of, he's mine and I'm not letting any guys or maybe girls to have him. I can lock him in my arms and let him fall for me." Napailing-iling naman siya at itinaas ang kamay niya na parang sumusuko.

"I guess, I really lose this time but I fought hard, so no regrets." Napangiti ako at tinapik siya sa balikat.

"Thanks Thaira." And that time we parted our ways.

Didiretso na sana muna ako sa opisina nang makasalubong ko si Anchetta.

"Alex, mag-usap nga tayo, lalaki sa lalaki." Ipinasok ko naman ang kamay ko sa bulsa ng lab coat ko.

"As far as I know wala naman tayong dapat pag-usapan Mr. Anchetta, pero you ask politely so go."

"Kung pinaglalaruan mo lang si Rizzel, might as well as stop. He doesn't deserve that and he doesn't deserve you." Pagak naman akong natawa.

"So deserve mo siya? Is that what are you implying Mr. Anchetta?"

"Mahal ko si Rizzel, I can give him everything he wants---

"--I also can---

"--pero hindi mo siya mahal." I cleared my throat and sighed.

"I know for a fact that I don't need to tell you everything or to even explain something to you. Rizzel made his self clear that he loves you as a friend, then and now, nothing change. And Mr. Anchetta, you may not know this, but I love Rizzel with all my heart."

"No, that's not true, ginagamit mo lang siya dahil kay Thaira." Napailing-iling naman ako at pinagkrus ang kamay sa dibdib ko.
