"I'll take care the one on the right, you take the one on the left." Heather whispered to her brother as they hid behind a huge rock.

Two guards stood outside the opening of some sort of cave. Torches hanged from the stone wall, though it was only enough for Heather and Dagur to see the entrance of the dark place.

Dagur nodded, moving towards the left and using the bushes to hide himself. Heather slowly moved towards the right, hiding behind a tree. When both of them reached their targets, Dagur punched the guard in the face and hitting his stomach using the butt of his axe, knocking the guard unconscious.

Heather elbowed her target at the back, making him fall to his knees. The terrible terror that joined them from before bit the guard in the wrist making him wince. Heather wrapped her arm around the guard's neck, choking him. "Tell us where the riders are." She threatened.

For a moment, the guard refuse to speak up which cause the arm around him tightened. He desperately gasped for air as Dagur pointed an axe to his throat.

"I bet it's not that hard to speak." Dagur had a stoned expression on his face, glaring at the guard.

"Th-they're inside the cave... Grimmel put them i-in dungeon." The guard immediately grabbed an air after he was released.

"Sorry, but we can't risk getting caught." Heather nodded at the bushes where her dragon hid.

Windshear growled lowly at the guard, wrapping her tail around his torso as she slumped him to a tree. The guard fell unconscious.

"Well, what do you say we grab some costumes sis?" Dagur smirked at his sister, walking to the guards on the ground.

Heather sighed, "I don't really like it, but it seems like it would be helpful." She begun to grab the guards' helmet and armor, attaching it to her body.

The two covered their body until they almost looked like the guards. They then walked inside the cave without their dragons as it was too risky for their dragons to be inside a narrow cave. Instead, they sent their dragons on the next island in case some of the guards see them.

It was very dark at that place. Only some torches that hanged from the wall lightened their path.

"Where do you think they are?" Heather whispered to her brother as they stopped from their tracks, seeing a separated path.

At the left, there was nothing but darkness. While on the other hand, they can barely recognized the stone wall and dirty ground.

Before Dagur could respond, two guards appeared, walking to them.

"Hey! Why aren't you guarding the entrance?" One of them spoke, pointing at the two.

"Well, we uh... we need some water because there was a fire outside a while ago." Dagur lied, keeping his voice as convincing as possible.

"A fire?" The one on the left spoke.

"Yeah, just a random wild dragon that went crazy and... blew fire, but don't worry we took care of it. We're exhausted so we need water." Dagur silently prayed in his mind that these guards will believe him.

The two guards laughed, "Are you kidding me? The river is outside, if you need a water, you wouldn't go here in the cave." The first guard crossed his arms with a cheeky grin.

Dagur wanted to punch the guard on the face but he knew it would be a bad idea. Other guards could probably heard the commotion, plus he and his sister were outnumbered by these guys.

His palm started to sweat as he think of an answer. The two guards stared at them, suspicion growing inside of their mind.

Their attention was caught when someone cleared their throat.
