Eren's POV
I hear screams coming from my left and turn too see what happened
"Don't look Yeager" Levi says a hint of worry in his voice "don't want our big bad Titan getting nightmares now do we" he adds
"Shut up" I say looking forward again "it's just. Armin's over that way"
We continue riding hearing the odd scream. We reach a forest of very high trees and decide to rest there for a bit high up in the branches so Titans don't eat us.
I'm very tired from our journey so I fall asleep straight away
Time skip to morning
I wake up to Mikasa and Armin shaking me and yelling my name
"EREN WAKE UP" Mikasa screams
"Whaaaaaaaat I'm awake" I complain
"Uh we thought you were dead" Armin says "are you ok?"
"Course I'm ok, what a stupid question why. Wouldn't I be?" I ask both of their faces twisting in fear
"A Titan attacked us, an abnormal, but it was fought off by the people who stayed awake" Armin informs me
I look around frantically for Levi "Where is he?" I yell
"Where's who?" Mikasa asks
"LEVI" I yell back getting up and getting ready to get my horse
"Where are you going?" Mikasa says grabbing my arm
"Where do you think, to find Levi" I spit shaking of her grip
"Eren why does it matter he's probably already dead anyway" she says in a monotone voice.
My heart sinks, Levi isn't dead. He can't be, can he? I don't realise that tears have been welling up in my eyes until they are falling down my face
"I know you look up to him but lots of people die everyday we need to fix the wall" Mikasa says her voice once again monotone
"NO! YOU DON'T GET IT." I yell at her flinging myself to another branch out of ear shot from everyone. I hear someone follow me up and go to yell at them but they stop me
"What don't I get?" Mikasa says this time her voice is more caring
"I-I can't tell you" I stutter
"Why not, your so secretive about everything it's like you don't trust me and Armin anymore!" She yells, it her to be angry I guess
"I trust you but you don't get it!" I yell back
"GET WHAT!" She screams
"I LOVE HIM" I blurt out. My hand flys to cover my mouth as I realise what I've just said. Mikasa's face twists with rage, I decide it's better to run. I fly away until I'm out of reach so I don't hurt anyone, then I turn into a Titan searching for Levi.
