Stranger's POV

Myself and one of my investigators heard a noise coming from the second floor, when we got locked in we were told no one was around the property or inside it. "Aaron, I think they might be someone in here. I kept hearing all these noises coming from above us." I said while walking towards the main floor where the restaurant was at. This building had 3 different floors and all of these unexplained noises came from the second floor." Me too bro, if this isn't a ghost then we might have someone messing around with us." When we walked to the place where all of the noises were coming from I didn’t see anybody but I could feel all types of emotions, such as fear, loneliness, and sadness in the atmosphere.That’s the thing about being an empath, you can feel all of these emotions hitting you all at once out of nowhere.

Aaron decided to turn the lights on from the room and we saw what looked like a woman hiding in the corner of the room. I couldn’t really see her face but her long red hair made see that in fact it was a woman. “ what are you doing here? how did you even got in here?” Aaron asked. The unknown woman tried to run away but I stopped her by holding her left arm and that’s when I saw her face. It was all covered up with bruises and blood. Who or what did this to her? She was scared when I touched her. She started to tremble badly and before I knew it she collapsed in my arms.

“ Zak, I think we need to take her to a hospital, look at her it looks like someone has hurt her badly.” I just nodded in agreement but we needed to get her to wake up before taking her to the hospital, we didn’t even know her name. “ I know bro but we don’t even know the girl’s name, we should wait for her to wake up and then take to the hospital” I was curious about her. She looked very innocent and fragile. I tried to lay her on the couch and try to get her up. “Aaron go and get the first aid kit and tell the guys about her” Aaron did as he was told and brought back the first aid kit. Shortly after Nick and Billy entered the room, Nick went straight to her and looked to see how bruised she was. “ Damn it bro, what do you think had happened to her?” Nick asked. Did I know? I might have an idea of what really happened to her but i really hoped I was wrong. “I-I…. She might have been assaulted by the way her body language, when she tried to escape earlier she panicked and fainted. I could see fear in her eyes.” They all looked at me and nodded. I decided to clean her up so she would not look as bad, I needed to clean all of the blood up from her face. After I cleaned her as much as I could she started to move a little, I tried waking her up since she had her eyes wide open now. “ Don’t worry sweetheart I am here to help you, I am NOT going to hurt you. I cleaned your face a little bit and-” she cut me off right there, “ You touched me? please get the HELL away from me…. NOW!”  I was shocked at her reaction, all I wanted to do was help her and she yells at me? “ I was only trying to help you that’s all but if you do not want me to help you then ok” I yelled back at her, this little girl was so ungrateful, I was trying to help her and she does this? WTF!. I walked out of the room with Nick and Billy hot on my heels.

Aaron’s POV

I was in the room next to where Zak and the unknown woman were at. I heard yelling, I ran over there Zak, Nick and Billy were walking out of the room. Zak looked pissed off. “ G what’s going on I heard yelling? “ I said, “ she wakes up and yells at me just because I was helping her, what the hell is wrong with her!” he yells at me. “... Uh. Zak she just had gotten through a very hurtful event in her life and you are seriously being a butthole to her right now.” He was mad, he walked back to base with the guys.

I knocked on the open door to see if she allowed me to be inside the room with her. “ hi there, I am Aaron, I am not going to hurt you, I promise. Can I come in?” I asked her very politely and she nodded. “ I am Madison Padilla. I am so sorry about your friend but I don’t want anybody touching me.” She said shyly. “ It’s okay he might have overreacted a little bit” She nodded and laughed. “ How did you get here?” I asked her. “ I came through the back door and ended up here.” She replies. “ I am sorry if I caused you any problems, I didn’t mean to” She cries. “ It’s okay you’re safe now.” I vowed to her. “ Promise?”, she asks. “ I promise” I said, she hugs me and we both smile.

It’s been an hour since I’ve been here talking to Madison about what happened to her. She begged me not to take her to the hospital because her brother might look for her although he’s in Connecticut. Although she did not wanted to see a doctor I checked her up, I took a nursing course in college. Yup I might not look like a nurse but before filmmaking ever came to the picture I wanted to be a doctor. She was fine, that’s the least I could say. She was very bruised up. “ You are okay Madison but you need to take some medicine, when we get out I’ll get it for you” I smiled and she hugged me. “ Thanks Aaron”. “ You are very welcome. Now let’s go downstairs to see what the guys are up to.” I tell her.

We both walked back to base where the guys were, we couldn’t get any evidence tonight because the viewers will see Madison, the good thing it’s that we did rescheduled it for the following night.” Hey guys I want you to meet Madison, Madison these are Nick, Billy, Jay and Zak” I said while pointing to each one of them. “Hi, you guys can call me Maddie if you want” she said shyly. “ They are not going to hurt you either” I whispered to her. “ You know we don’t bite right?” Billy says and makes her laugh. “ Yeah, I know”

Maddie’s POV

Everyone seemed nice so far but I was still a bit scared. Aaron made me trust him, something inside of me tells me to trust him. Zak in the other hand makes me nervous. “ We are going to get out in 30 minutes we need to start packing up” Billy said. Aaron whispered something to Zak and they both exited the room. I sat in one of the chairs they had at base, I waited for them to finish doing their work. After a few minutes the guys came back. Zak kept looking at me which started to bother me, “ do you need something?” I asked him being a little rude to him. “ No. Nothing.” He answered.

“ Maddie, we are going back to our hotel in a few minutes, do you have a place to stay?” Aaron asked, hell I didn’t even knew where I was. I haven’t even thought about finding a place to stay. “ Not really, I’ve only been in ohio for a couple of hours. I have no idea where I am or where to go.”

“ ….Uh-huh, well Zak and I were talking about it, we decided to take you with us until you settle down….We aren’t leaving ‘til next week. We are going to rent you your own hotel room and everything you need for now” Aaron informed me. I didn’t know what to say or do.

I accepted Aaron’s proposal because I didn’t have anyplace to go. I should stop thinking that everybody it’s like anthony, theses guys are different, they seem to really care about me.

Before our way to the hotel, I told the guys about my car sitting outside hidden, Zak  volunteer to ride with me while the other went in the van. “ Uh… Do you mind if I drive Madison?.” Zak asks looking at the ground. “Why should I trust you with my car?.” Not to brag or anything but I have a Dodge Charger. “ Your car reminds me of mine, the only difference it’s that mine’s black and yours red.” This right here has been the longest conversation we ever had. “ Okay just try not kill both of us” I threw the keys at him and he catched them. “ Thanks but I ain’t promising anything by the way,” he said with a smirk on his face. I just laughed. The rest of our way we kept talking about random stuff, after he wasn’t a butthole. He was sweet, caring and super cute. Damn Madison stop thinking about that, what’s wrong with you?..... Is this even normal?.....
