Unexpected

Part 1

Tobins pov
I woke up late to pick Christen up for school. I quickly get dressed and head to my car. When I pulled up to christen's house she was sitting on the front steps and didn't look happy. She got in my car and didn't say a word. "I'm so so so sorry Chris I over slept." Now she was giggling. "What what is so funny"
   "You should have seen your face." She was now cracking up.
    "Jeez Chris you can't do that to me"  I started driving us to school. We made just before the bell rang of class to start. This is the only class me and Christen have together and it's history.  We sit right next to each other. Today we are learning about the holocaust. I found my self staring at Christen most of the class. She is just so beautiful. Especially her eyes. As you can tell I have a little bit of a crush on Christen. What a cliché right falling for your bestfriend. I was broke out of My thoughts with Christen waving her hand in front of my face.
    "Earth to Tobin"
    "What sorry"
    "You okay tobs?" She said giving me a little smile.
    "Yeah I'm fine"
    "Okay so I was thinking that we should be partners"
    "For what"
    "The project we were just talking about this whole class period"
    "Oh sorry I must have zoned out" she narrowed her eyes and looked at me.
     "Are you sure your okay Tobin"
     "Yep absolutely so what do we have to do" she explained the project to me and then the bell rang.
     "I'll see you at Lunch"
      "Yep see you then" she just laughed at me and walked away. God Tobin your such an idiot. I walked to my next class which I had with one of my bestfriends Allie Long.
    "Hey Harry"
    "Hi Harry"
    "Awe Harry is something wrong"
    "Other then me making a fool of myself in front of Christen again no"
    "Oh Harry it's okay we all do that I get it"
   "Why can't I just act normal around her"
   "Because you have feelings for her which makes it impossible not to get nervous and act like a fool"
   "That is very true" The final bell rang which signaled for class to start. Me and Allie sat in the back of the class room.
Class ended and it was time for lunch I made my way to the line to get mine and Christens food. Then make my way to our usual table. I set our food on the table then sat down. "Hey" Christen said giving me a smile.
"Hey"
"So everyone is going to practice right" Meghan said before sitting down.
"Yes" was heard around the table.
"Anyone want to come over to my house for so team bonding after practice" Ash said before sitting next to her girlfriend Ali. I looked at Christen.
"You wanna go" she shook her head yes. "We are in"
"Perfect anyone else"
"Me, Kelley and Alex will be there too" said Allie.
"Okay bet" we talked about soccer and our game coming up. Till it was time for our next class.
"See you at practice Toby"
"You know I hate that name"
"You love it when I say it and you know it"
"Whatever you say Chris"
It's time for practice and I'm the first one to the locker room which never happens. I got ready and headed out to the field. Playing around for a little bit before I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Jeez Chris you scared me."
"Sorry just was wondering your so early today most of the time your late."
"It's a good question I don't have the answer to" 
  "Alright Tobin what's going on you've been acting weird all day"
   "Nothing I'm fi-"
   "No your not Tobin you've been acting weird and you've been a little distracted"
   "I'm sorry Chris I haven't been sleeping and I just i guess I'm in a weird mood I didn't mean to make you think there was a problem" I said pulling her into me. I can't tell her that she is the reason I'm so distracted.
   "It's okay Tobin but why didn't you tell me you weren't sleeping I could have stayed up with you"
   "Chris I don't want you to lose sleep just because I am" then before she could respond the rest of the team and the coach came.
    "Alright ladies let do our warm ups then we are gonna do some drills. At the end of practice we will have a scrimmage" we all start warmups. Christen kept watching me the whole practice.
   "Hey Tobs" I turn to see allie. "What's going on with you and Christen did you have a fight"
    "No we did not have a fight she just worried about me"
    "Why what wrong did something happen" allie asked worried.
    "No Harry I'm fine really I just can't tell Chris the real reason I'm acting weird"
    "And that is"
    "Because I like her and I don't know what to do about it I thought I could push it down but the feelings just keep getting stronger and stronger"
    "Awe Harry I completely understand that one"
    "Ladies it is not gossip time get to work"
   After practice Christen met me out at the car. We both got in and it was a silent ride all the way to Christens house. I parked in the driveway. "Stay here I'll be right back" she ran inside her house but left all her stuff out here. She came back out with another bag.
    "Chris what are you doing"
    "We are going to have a sleep over"
    "Why is it because I said I'm not sleeping"
    "Tobin I'm worried about you at least now I don't have to lose sleep worrying about you"
    "Okay" is all I said before I pulled out of the driveway and drove to my house. We walked into the front door and my parents were on the couch watching a movie. "Hey mom hey dad"
    "Hey Toby"
    "Is it okay if Christen stay tonight"
    "Of course" we head up to my room.
    "Do you want to take a shower first" I don't know why but I'm a little nervous.
    "Sure" she walked into the bathroom. I just laid on my bed. I decided to text Allie.
T: she is at my house
H: who?
T: Christen is
H: why?
T: because she said it's better if she stays tonight so she doesn't have to worry about me.
H:well your screwed Harry
T: not helping Harry I'm already super nervous i don't know why because we've had millions of sleep overs.
H: just stop overthinking so much.
T: I'll try
   Christen came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. She wet curly hair. She looked so beautiful. Come on Tobin snap out of it. I grab my close and head to the shower.
    The warm water runs against my face and all I can think about is Christen. How much I wish she was mine. I got out and got dressed. Christen was in my bed in only my sweatshirt and underwear. I don't think I'm gonna survive the night. I walked out in short and a sports bra. "Wanna watch a movie"
   "Yeah what do you want to watch"
   "I was thinking Mulan"
   "Sounds perfect" she turned on the movie then cuddled into me. I really hope she can't hear my heartbeat right now.
