Unexpected

Part 2

Christen pov
    I wake up with my arms wrapped around a body. I slightly open my eyes to see the back of Tobins head. Our bodies were wrapped together. This honestly felt so great. But we're just friends. Tobin is my best friend there is no way this will mean anything more then just two friends cuddling a I mean two friends can cuddle with out it meaning that they are into each other right?
    Tobin starts to stir so I pull away. She turns around and faces me. Wow is she beautiful. Really Christen. "Good morning" she said In her very sleepy voice.
   "Good morning tobs" she gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom. Soon I hear the sink running. I walked in there and she was brushing her teeth so I joined her.
     When she finished she said "I'm gonna go get ready" and walked back into her room. She's still acting weird I wonder what is bothering her. I get ready too and we meet downstairs. "You ready Chris?"
    "Yep" we headed to her car. Something just seems so off with her. I just don't feel the normal energy I do when I'm with her.
    We go through out the school day it's finally time for lunch. We were all sitting together like usual. Then suddenly I see Shirley tap on Tobins shoulder out of the corner of my eye. I don't like Shirley and she doesn't like me. "Hey Tobin" she said with a big smirk on her face.
    "Hey"
   "Can I talk to you for a moment"
   "Sure" she said getting up from her seat. "Ill be right back Chris" they walked over to the corner. We all watched them. Then suddenly they were kissing. What the heck why didn't Tobin tell me. Maybe this is why she's been acting weird. I stood up.
   "Uh um I'm going to go to the bathroom I'll be right back" I said before walking away. I never even noticed that Kelley was right behind me. Kelley is one of my bestfriends. As soon as I got into the bathroom I started crying. Kelley was right behind me and pulled me right into her.
    "I'm so sorry Chris I know you like Tobin"
    "What are you talking about" I pulled away a little bit.
   "Oh come on Chris everyone knows you like Tobin well besides Tobin"
    "Wait what"
    "Chris we all see the way you are with her you literally spent the night with her because you thought something was wrong"
    "Yeah maybe your right kel maybe I do have feelings for her but she obviously doesn't want me" I threw my hands to the air. "God why did I have to fall for my bestfriend" then the end of period bell rang.
   "I know this isn't the best time but we have to get to class Chris"
   "It's okay Kelley go to class I'll be fine I have free period right now I'm probably just gonna go shoot"
    "Are you sure"
    "Yeah I'm sure I think it's better if I'm alone for right now"
    "Okay Chrissy but take care of yourself I love you" she kissed my forehead.
    "I love you too kel" then we went our separate ways. I changed into some shorts and a t-shirt then went down to the field. I had the bag of soccer balls. I lined up a bunch of balls and kicked them into the net from different angles. Suddenly I heard clapping, the slow annoying kind.
    "Got a lot of anger to get out or something press"
    "What do you want Shirley"
    "You know your gonna have to get use to being nice to me because now that me and Tobin are together you have no other choice."
    "Just because your with Tobin doesn't mean I need to be nice to you"
    "Tobin isn't gonna like it"
    "I don't care she doesn't control who I like and don't like"
    "Your just jealous"
    "No I'm not"
   "Just admit it I got the girl you want but now can't have"
   "No Shirley your wrong"
   "Whatever press Tobin is mine now"
   "Okay I don't care" she didn't like that she wasn't getting the reaction she wanted so she left. Then suddenly I heard someone else.
    "I'm sorry Chris"
    "For what Allie you didn't do anything"
    "Yeah but I'm just sorry you have to deal with her"
    "So you don't like her either"
    "Yeah she is just using Tobin"
    "Yeah and she wants to one up me like always."
I sat down and Allie sat next to me. "She's not wrong though she does have something I want back can't have"
    "Yeah but it's not like you'll lose Tobin, Chris she cares about you so much"
    "I know I just wish she would have told me"
    "I don't think she even knew herself"
    "I didn't even know and she tells me everything, well mostly everything I know she tells you everything"
    "Yeah except this"
     "Very true" we heard the bell ring. "Well looks like it's time to go to the next class"
    "Looks like it" we both got up and I grabbed the bag of balls.
    "Chris"
    "Yeah" she pulled me into a hug.
    "If you like her and I mean really like her more then a friend don't give up okay"
    "Okay al"
   "I'll see you at practice Chris love you"
   "Love you too Allie" we both went our separate ways. Lucky me I had gym so I didn't have to change. Unlucky me I have gym with Tobin and Shirley. I walked out of the locker room. We had an open gym today. Tobin whispered something to Shirley then made her way over to me. Then it hit me how mad I am at her for not telling me. I turned to walk away, but she grabbed my hand before I could.
    "Chris please let me explain"
    "No it's Christen for you and explain what that you have a girlfriend you didn't tell me about. Looks like there isn't much to be explained"
   "Please I was just nervous about telling you"
   "Why Tobin I'm your bestfriend well at least I thought I was then you go and get in a relationship and didn't tell me I didn't even know you liked Shirley"
   "I didn't know either"
   "Whatever and of all people Shirley really the one person I can't stand"
    "I can't help what I feel Christen"
   "What ever Tobin I need some space to think Kelley is going to be driving me to school for now on" I start walking away tears forming.
    "Christen please wait"
    "No Tobin I can't" then I heard Ash.
   "Come on Tobin give her some space" I didn't even look back I just felt a hand on my shoulder that I knew wasn't Tobins. It was Kelley. We walked to a different corner.
   "I don't think I'm going to go to practice"
    "It's okay I'll tell coach you felt sick"
    "Thanks Kel"
