Part 10

Christen pov
I woke up with Tobin's arms wrapped around me. I carefully squeezed my way out of them and headed downstairs. I was greeted by my parents.
"Good morning Chrissy"
"Good morning mom"
"Tobin still asleep?" My dad asked.
"Yep"
"Well you better wake her your gonna be late for school" I went back up stairs. Tobin was still laying on my bed just as peaceful as she was when I left. I walked over and rubbed her back.
"Tobin it's time to get up we are gonna be late for school"
"But I don't want to" she wined.
"Tobs you have to come on" I said dragging her out of bed. "Now get dressed" she gave me a weird look.
"Yes ma'am" she saluted me. I just laughed and got dressed.
We get to the school and met with Allie in the parking lot. "Hey it's my favorite couple"
"Hey Harry"
"Hey al" we walked into the school and all went to our lockers all of a sudden my locker was slammed shut and pushed. "What the hell" I yelled as I was falling back.
"Bitch" was all I heard. Then I saw Shirley walking away and Tobin running over to me.
"Are you okay chris"
"Yeah I'm fine" I said with a little bit of an attitude. I stood up. I grabbed my stuff and headed to my class. Which I had with Tobin.
It was lunch time. I still was a little up set about what happened this morning. Little did I know it was just the beginning. I sat down in my usual seat Tobin was walking over here. Suddenly she was tripped and the food flew all over me. I saw Shirley laughing out of the corner of my eye. I was done I ran right out of the lunch room straight to the locker room. Allie ran after me.
"Let's get you cleaned up chris" she pulled the extra clothes I keep from my locker. I take off my shirt and pants to change into my new ones.
"Why why does she have to be like this" I was now crying. I slammed my fist against the locker. Allie pulled me into her.
"I don't know Chris but it's not right I'm sos Rory you have to go through this" we just sat like that for a while. Tobin soon walked through the door. Tears in her own eyes.
"Christen you in here"
"We are over here" Allie called out. Tobin sat down next to us.
"I'm so sorry Christen" I sat up out of Allie's arms and pulled Tobin into me. She was crying a little harder now.
"Hey hey Tobin it's okay it's not you fault"
"Yes it is I should have never when out with her in the first place I should have just grew a pair and went after you"
"Hey look at me Tobin" I said grabbing her face.
"That is not your fault you had no idea I had feelings for you and Shirley would have done this either way I don't blame you and you shouldn't blame your self I love you Tobin"
"I love you too Christen" I pulled her in for a soft kiss.
"Now I hate to ruin the moment but we got to get to class" we all went our separate ways. I headed out to the field since I have a free period. I shot a couple balls they were all off.
"Ha who know you suck press" there was a pause. "Oh wait I did" I turned and looked at Shirley. She had a smug look on her face.
"Haha I'm still better then you Cruz"
"Whatever you say press"
"What is your damn problem why can't you just leave me the hell alone I have done nothing to you"
"You stole Tobin we were happy then you walk in and now she's gone"
"You did not lose Tobin because of me that is your fault maybe if you would have stopped obsessing over the fact that you thought Tobin was in love with me you would still have her it is not my fault you sabotage your own relationship"
"She was in love with you"
"Then why even go after her if you knew that"
"Because press"
"I'm over the whole thing whatever this thing that has been happening between us I'm tired I don't want to fight anymore it's exhausting and it's hurting Tobin"
"Fine I'll back off only because I truly do care about Tobin" then the bell rang and we head to our next class which we happened to have together. I walked into the gym and Tobins face lit up.
"Hey" she said with a smile.
"Hey"
"So what do you say you want to have a movie night at my place Tonight"
"I would love too"
"Okay it's a date" she gave me a quick kiss. "Now if it's okay with you I'm gonna go find Allie"
"Go ahead I was gonna try and find Kelley anyways." She ran off and I found Kelley. "Hey kel"
"Hey Chrissy how's everything after lunch"
"It's all good actually I don't think we are gonna have to worry about anything happening anytime soon"
"Well that's good what are you doing after school today"
"I have a date with Tobin" I watch her smile drop a little. "But tomorrow I am all yours"
"Great I was thinking we could catch up and you could tell me everything about camp"
"For sure kel"
Tobin and I were laying in her bed watching a movie. "Do you think you parents will care if I stay tonight"
"I'm sure they won't but I'll go ask and make sure."
She got out of bed and left the room. She came back shortly. "They said you can stay when ever you want"
     "Okay" she got back in bed and cuddle into me.
     "Chris?"
     "Yeah Tobin"
     "I just still can't shake the whole Shirley thing"  I sat up a little.
    "What do you mean Tobs"
     "I just still feel like it's my fault"
     "Tobin I told you I don't blame you plus I talked to Shirley she's going to try and back off"
     "Wait you talked to her civilly?"
     "Well it wasn't really that civil but we talked"
      "When?"
      "During my free period"
      "Oh"
