5: mission

I wake up in my bed. "Huh?" I say looking around. "You were sleep outside." Bucky said walking in. "Thanks." I say smiling. "I should get dressed." I say as he leaves and I put on my jeans and maroon top. "Omg hope!" I scream into my phone. "What?" She says. "Bucky! He same to talk to me before the full moon then carried me back to my room!" I say "omg true love!" Lizzie says. "True love for who?" Alaric asks as I hang up. I get to the lobby to see the avengers. "We have a new mission. 6 artifacts leading to some super natural are loose. Relaxing one more star at a time. Bucky,Nat,Steve Sam, and Maddie are going to the Salvatore school. That's were lots of attacks have been." Nick fury said looking at me. "Guessing you know that place." Sam asked a si nodded. " my dad owns it. And I went there. So does my little sister." I say. "You leave tommarow so pack up. You will be there for 5 days." He said as I get to packing a duffle bag. I text my dad keeping him informed on my life. I then just lay around all day.

-day of-
I get to the quinjet and sit off on my own. "Maddie what's your life like...like family wise?" Nat asked as I looked up. "Um..good yeah." I say avoiding the topic of my family. It's rough. My dad,mom,and uncle died in the same year. Yep I was born a mikaelson and when they died Damon adopted me. When I was 7. "Can we not talk about me family?" I ask. "Yeah sorry." Sam says as I get back to reading.
-buckys POV-
Wow. Wonder why Maddie won't say a word about her family. Hope we didn't just make her mad. I then see a tear run down her face. We made her mad. Me being me I just sit there pretending not to notice. Can't even comfort the girl I like!

-maddies POV-
I wipe my tear away before anyone notices. We then land and I get off the jet. Running to Hope laying my bag on the ground. I then pick her up hugging her. "Oh my god." I say hugging her then putting her down. "Guessing this is hope?" Nat asked as I nodded. "Oh yeah hope this is Bucky Nat Sam and Steve." I say as she smiles. "Ric." I say hugging him. "So what happened?" I ask standing next to Bucky. "The urn is loose." He said as I stated at him. "The same one we thought we handled 3 years ago." He said as I nodded. "What's special about the urn?" Sam asked. "Malivore. Holds bunch of deadly creatures. Releasing on at a time. We handled the urn. But now a certain knife we have is releasing them here. We need to destroy the knife,but need a tribrid. I'm not strong enough that's why we needed Maddie. It takes time,5 days. Constant spelling. Also Gemini witches which we have Lizzie and Josie. We needed y'all to keep the school safe while that happens." Hope summed up as we nodded. "Let me show you were your staying." Hope said showing us our 5 rooms. I unpack and start looking over some spells alone. "Maddie?" I hear looking up. "Hey I was wondering if you wanted to um do something?" Bucky asked. "Busy." I say as he walks off. I then keep working.
