(Adrien's POV)

The next day I wasn't myself at all because of last night and I don't wanna go insane because my father is a villain. I so wanna hypnotize myself from my reflection but I can't because I lack reflection. I just stared at my no reflection, thinking how I will live with my father by the time I move out at age 18 in 3 years. I can't let my father know I'm Cat Noir because he'll take away Plagg from me and Plagg was the only friend I ever had when I'm alone in my room. He was like a brother to me.

My father never has time for me because he wants to get my mother back but he has no idea what can happen if he wishes her back from her coma. I would be paying a terrible price in exchange for taking her place. If mom was here, she would be angry and disgusted to see my father terrorizing Paris for 2 years. This won't be a family reunion; it will be a disaster.

"Plagg, does combining the ladybug and the cat miraculous have a dark side to the wish?" I asked while filling up my bottle of water and letting the relic touch it to turn into blood.

"Well, I'm not sure of that," Plagg said.

I sighed and drank blood a little, not caring if the blood is trickling down from my lips to my chin. I can see it in the mirror but not my reflection.

"You did combine your miraculous with the snake once," Plagg said.

"Yeah, I remember. But it doesn't grant a wish. I wish my mother was back but I cannot upset the balance of the universe. Some wishes don't always come true" I said, wiping the blood off my face.

"So you're just gonna let your father terrorize Paris?" Plagg asked.

"I don't like it Plagg but I don't want to end up in an orphanage without a parent. Father doesn't know I'm Cat Noir and a vampire. He'll never win nor get mine and Marinette's miraculous" I said.

"You're way too old for an orphanage, Adrien," Plagg said.

"I'm 15 years old, Plagg. I don't know. I'm just stressed right now. It's best if I don't tell Marinette." I said, grabbing my school bag since I have school.

Plagg hides in my hoodie jacket and I left my room but saw my father standing near the door downstairs.

"Don't forget to practice your piano lessons after school, Adrien" He said with a serious tone.

I sighed that it's time I tell him I have a girlfriend, "Father, there's something I gotta tell you. Marinette and I....we are a couple." I said.

He blinked rapidly at what I said, "The girl who has a talent for fashion designing? I never expected that you find her attractive" Father said.

I hate it when he doesn't say something nice to me, "Father, Marinette, and I are seriously a couple. Madly in love is what I mean. I can't believe you're not proud of me!" I said angrily and just walked past him. It completely makes sense he never approves either.

I'm guessing that he'd been Hawk Moth for too long, it changed him entirely. Mom would be scared to see dad become like this. If Mom is really in a coma, where is she now? Father never leaves the house so it's impossible if she's at the hospital. Could he secretly have kept her somewhere in the mansion?

I shook that thought out and head to my bodyguard's car and hypnotize him into letting me sit in the front seat.

I arrived at school and saw Marinette coming to me as I hugged her. I can hear Chloe ranting 'utterly ridiculous' about me and Marinette with her.

"Hey princess," I said my nickname to her and hugged her, "How's the....insect bite on your neck?" I said, noticing that she doesn't have the patch on her neck. I can see it's still a little punctured.
