Becoming a Vampire

Usually I'm not sure if a vampire with souls can survive in the daylight. Dhampirs can or cannot. But that's what I think. As for a vampire's diet, I'd say they don't have the same function as mortals because vampires are undead.

So, I'm just gonna have Adrien/Cat Noir lack a reflection because we all know vampires don't cast reflections. But I'm also gonna have him not burn in daylight since he still has his human soul. Because he's not bitten by an actual vampire person, he was bitten by bats. If you get bitten by a vampire person, you lose your soul.

(Adrien's POV)

"I must be out of my mind!" I jumped towards my open window and said the de-transformation words.

I removed the music piano playing from my phone off my speakers.

"I can't believe you did that! What were you thinking, Adrien?!" Plagg was in a state of shock from what I did.

"I wasn't! That explains why I couldn't drink water. Plagg, I think those bats last night turned me into a vampire! I gotta be sure!" I ran into the bathroom to see if it's true.

Indeed I was right, I can't see my reflection but my clothes are still there in my lack of reflection. But.....I still feel a heartbeat. How am I able to survive in sunlight? Vampires burn in daylight. I took out my phone to see if I appear in videos or a photo. So far, I can appear in the video. Then I checked to see if I appear in a photo selfie. So far, I can.

"Well, at least I don't need to worry about the photo shooting," I said.

"Last I checked when you got hungry, your eyes turned from green to red" Plagg said.

"What? It did?" I gasped.

"Yes, Like bloodshot eyes but they glowed," Plagg said.

"Ah, man. This is a nightmare. What will Ladybug say? What will my friends say?" I paced back and forth from the stress.

"I don't know Adrien." Plagg flew around in a circle trying to think.

I looked at my camera phone and saw my sharp fangs retract halfway into normal length, "Whoa, this is definitely real, Plagg. I don't believe in fairytales or monster stories but this is real" I said, noticing how sharp it feels when I licked it.

"One thing is how are you gonna hide yourself that you can't eat or drink?" Plagg wondered.

"Guess I'll have to try to resist not to throw up," I said.

I went to sit at my desk and turned on my computer to search about vampires and if there's any history of them. I know they don't exist but maybe histories have deceptions from being discovered. I know Stoker's Dracula is inspired by Vlad III Dracula or Vlad the Impaler. He had his meals while having his enemies impaled. But now I'll need the basic facts on vampires.

Okay from what I found, Vampires are a type of undead creatures, most recognizable by their fangs, pale skin, and sometimes red eyes. They can shapeshift into any creature like bats, wolves, owls, and even birds. They feed on their victims' life essence, usually their blood.

In folkloric tales, vampires often visited loved ones and caused mischief or deaths in the neighborhood they inhabited.

"Man, it's gonna be creepy if I did this to my family or friends or even enemies." I shuddered at that thought.

The next thing I read is that vampires are usually weak to garlic, even crosses, holy water, and sunlight can be fatal to most vampires aside from impaling with a pole or decapitation. Luckily, I lack the sunlight weakness.
