(Marinette's POV)

I received a text message early at 4 am this morning from Cat Noir that he'll find Lila after school as Cat Noir. I texted him back to not do anything stupid with his hypnosis. But I trust him. He's never done anything too far but hopefully, this vampirism doesn't turn him evil. It reminds me of Cat Blanc becoming a twisted villain from an alternative timeline.

Okay, time to get to school and I saw that Adrien is wearing his old black shirt with stripes that I remember along with a sleeveless jacket like his white one, black pants, and black converse shoes. Is he starting to lean towards being a punk goth or something else?

I bravely walked up to him without stuttering this time, "Hey, Adrien"

"Oh, hey Marinette. I was about to talk to you and Vincent wanted to give the pictures of us. I hope you like them" He gave me the photos of our photoshoot.

"Wow, we look amazing and...um." I saw the picture of me kissing his cheek.

"Um....The kiss on the cheek.....it felt....nice. So....do you like the pictures?" He asked shyly with a blush.

"They are amazing, Adrien. I mean lovely! I mean they're adorable! Hehehe....I love them." I stammered and blushed.

"Me too. It's great to have someone photoshoot with me. Because I spent photo-shooting by myself alone without a partner but it was great to have you in my photoshoot. Thanks" Adrien smiled a little.

"You're welcome, Adrien," I replied.

"Ugh! Utterly ridiculous! I could've been in the photoshoot with you! That ridiculous hero-themed tribute is utterly ridiculous!" Chloe just has to ruin the moment while Sabrina just stands there and doesn't say a word.

Adrien nearly let out a growl but I noticed something in his teeth but I couldn't see.

"Go away, Chloe." Adrien grabbed my hand and he gently dragged me inside the school, "Sorry about her. She really needs to control her jealousy and anger"

"Yeah, she was not even there to volunteer for the photoshoot," I said.

"She's probably jealous that you volunteered. Sure I get girls fighting over me a lot but none of them are you. You're an extraordinary girl, Marinette. You're smart, funny, and extraordinary. You're the reason it changed my life the day we first met" Adrien confessed beautifully to me.

I blushed a little at the words he described me as, "Thanks, Adrien"

He then hugged me for a few seconds before pulling away, "I'll see you at class" He smiled a little before heading to the boys' bathroom.

I stood there like a statue before I lost my balance but Alya rushed in and caught me.

(Adrien's POV)

I felt like I wanted her as my bride but I shook that thought out. Stupid curse messing with me. Marinette is just my friend, Ladybug is the girl of my dreams only.

"Admit it! You seem to have a crush on her" Plagg making fun of me.

"That's enough, Plagg. Marinette is just a friend, not my girlfriend. I mean she is cute and pretty but that doesn't mean I'm falling in love with her" I said and grabbed my bottle of blood.

"Eventually you're gonna have to give up pursuing Ladybug's heart," Plagg said but I opened the bottle cap and put the blood scent near him to make him shut up.

"Ugh! Okay, you win!" Plagg groans in disgust.

"Gotcha," I smirked and drank blood from my bottle.
