"Happy Birthday, Tia! Ang tanda mo na." I greeted her as I handed her my gift that if from her favorite designer brand. Dior.
Sumimangot siya at marahan na tinaggap ang regalo.
"He! Kumain ka na nga lang—wait, Laureen!" She shouted at a girl— lady I guess.
Lumingon siya. May pagaalinlangan sa kanyang mga mata pero naglakad pa din sa amin.
"Oh hi ate Cristia! Happy Birthday ulit, but I have to go. May ano, I memeet pa ako." She glanced at me. Tipid akong ngumiti.
"Aww! May after party pa ito. Ditch mo muna yan." Tia narrowed her eyes at her as the girl named Laureen slowly nods.
"Well. I guess so... I tetext ko lang po si daddy." Pumalakpak naman si Tia saka kinuha ni Laureen ang kanyang phone.
"Siri, message daddy—"
"Which daddy should I message?" Nanlaki ang mata namin ni Tia sa narinig. I covered my mouth to not cry in laugher as Laureen blushed.
"My dad, Siri," mataman na wika niya ulit.
"You have two contacts that are named daddy."
Umawang ang labi namin.
"My father, siri." Laureen is now turning red while looking up and Tia was just laughing like an evil queen.
"Wait, call the other daddy Siri." Tia said.
"Calling daddy..."
"Fuck," mura ni Laureen.
For a couple of rings, someone picked up the phone.
"Hello, baby? Where are you?"
