New Friend

Ethan smiled "Well it's nice to meet you Jack! And yeah I wouldn't mind the company..like I said things are a little akaward with my roommate at the moment" he chuckled

"So how exactly? What did you do?"

Ethan sighed blushing as he explained the events that had taken place in that past few days "Yeah it's uh..not the best situation I've been in"

Jack erupted with laughter as he heard "Sorry sorry I'm not trying to laugh at you I promise. Look Ethan, he likes you and to be honest it's kinda obvious. But next time I wouldn't uh..ya know.."

Ethan blushed deeply "We don't talk about that.. but you really think he likes me as well?" He said, hope in his voice. He really hoped he had a shot with Mark

"Yeah I mean from what you said it seems pretty clear he likes you, and I mean I can see why" he winked then laughed softly

Ethan blushed slightly "Ah shush" he smiled "But thank you" he said as he sipped his drink.

Jack had a small smile on his face and a slight bit of blush "Yeah just being honest Ethan, anyone would be lucky to have you. You seem like a really nice guy, plus you're funny and cute I mean who could say no to that?"

Ethan looked away "Alright now you're just trying to flatter me" he said as a slight blush creeped up onto his cheeks.

Mark sighed "He's been gone for a while..must be having fun on his date I guess..I guess I should go on a walk and get my mind off of it for now. "Probably stop by that coffee shop first" he mumbled to himself as he got ready.
He got ready and put a hoodie on as it was a little cold that day. He grabbed his phone and made his way outside heading towards the coffee shop. He was walking by it when he saw Ethan and Jack. He stopped and looked at them, seeing Jack flirt with him it made him jealous. But Ethan wasn't his so what did it matter.

What made it worse is when they were both blushing and shared an award glance before looking away from each other. Mark frowned.

Shaking his head he put his hoodie up so Ethan wouldn't see it was him then going inside to order a drink

Ethan glanced over at Mark "Oh I think that's him actually"

Jack chuckled "Wow, you sure that's him? Wouldn't he like come by and say something?"

Ethan shrugged "Sounds like him at least.."

Jack saw Mark glancing over "I have an idea to test something so uh don't hate me okay?"

Ethan gave him a confused look before he was pulled into a kiss by Jack. It was just a quick kiss then Jack whispered "I promise I did that for a reason"

Mark saw that happen and at that moment he could feel his heart shatter. Ethan really had found someone. He paid for the drink and quickly made his way out.
"I don't know why I thought anything different..I could've sworn that guy looked at me before doing that..if he was trying to make me mad it worked."
  He frowned and made his way to the gym to blow off some steam.

Jack chuckled "I was right he does like you. Otherwise he wouldn't have stormed out like that"

Ethan was still surprised, his face bright red with blush "D-Did you really have to kiss me to prove that?"

Jack chuckled "I mean it worked didn't it?" Jack said with a small smirk

"Well yeah I guess it did but now he's probably upset! What if he doesn't even wanna talk to me?? What if he doesn't like me anymore??"

Jack grabbed his hands "Hey, look into my eyes. He loves you, remember that. Now you should get home and when he gets back you talk to him and tell you how you feel." He gave him a piece of paper with his number "But if you ever wanna hang out here's my number" he said befor walking out
