Is this really it?

Ethan sighed and walked home. God why did Jack kiss him?? What if he never had a chance with him now? What if Mark hated him.. all these thoughts were gnawing at his mind not letting him think of anything else aside from that. When he got home he went to his room and sighed sitting on his bed "I mean jack is cute though.." he blushed and shook his head "No I can't be thinking like that! I'll just confuse myself more.." he frowned, feeling upset with himself. "Maybe I should listen to what jack said..just tell him the truth.. I mean what's the worst that could happen.." he said and on cue, he heard the front door open.

Mark sighed softly as he opened the door, closing it behind him. He took off his hoodie and went to the kicthen to get a drink of water. He saw Ethan come out of his room and as Ethan was about to say something Mark interrupted "We can talk later I need to shower." He said and walked passed Ethan into his own room and went to shower.

Ethan was about to say something "Mark I-" when he got cut off by a cold gaze and Mark saying that they could talk later. He turned around and watched mark close the door. He sighed softly and sat on the couch now "I guess I'll just have to wait.."

Mark turned on the shower as hot as it could get and let the hot water hit his skin. "I don't know what he was going to say but..it can't be anything good.. is this really it for us? I thought things were going well then this stupid date happened." He closed his eyes "Stupid guy looked right at me as he kissed him too."

The blue haired male got up and went to the kicthen to get something to drink. "Is this really it? I messed everything up..I had a chance but I blew it. I don't think he'll even want to talk to me." He mumbled to himself "Why am I such an idiot.." he didn't hear the shower turn off. Around five minutes later mark came out and looked over at Ethan. He looked at Mark "Can we talk?.. please? There's something I really need to talk to you about."

Mark paused for a second before reluctantly nodding "Fine say what you gotta say." He mumbled, preparing for the worst.

Ethan looked down "I wasn't on a date I lied. I freaked out when you asked why I was dressed so nicely and lied on the spot then I realized that I would be gone for a while so this guy sat with me and we became friends. He only kissed me to test if you liked me..he said it worked but I'm still worried because.. Mark, I really like you and I don't wanna screw up. If I have any sort of a chance with you I want to take it.." he then looked at Mark, waiting for a response.

Mark laughed softly "Oh Ethan.."
