The Plan (Part 10)

For This Part, you can skip if you want too. It's just gonna be Shawna explaining to Kai what her plan is and Ryder telling Lin his full plan. It will have some cute and sad moments and possibly important parts in it but it's overall gonna be short but you can read if you want. :)

   Shawna and Kai sat at the desk with a piece of paper. Shawna was drawing a map of the realms.
She pointed out a small cliff between the Wolves and Dragon's realm.
"Though, I doubt there will be any guards guarding the border, just in case, use this spot. You can cross over through a waterfall. When you get to the wolves realm though will be all you. You'd have to get into the castle by yourself and kill the king and queen." Shawna explained, looking at Kai seriously. Kai looked at the map uncertain of success. Shawna looked at Kai and sighed.
"Yeah it'll be dangerous- But it'll be worth it if you do this successfully." Shawna said. Kai gulped nervously and sat back, closing his eyes.
"Dangerous as in, the only consequence is death." Kai said slowly. Shawna nodded her head.
"On the bright side- If you get into the castle, you have a chance to see Ryder-" Shawna said until she was interrupted right away by Kai. He stood up super quickly and grabbed the map.
"When do I leave?!" Kai screamed. Shawna stared at Kai and chuckled at the reason he did that.
"Probably in a few days. We shouldn't rush it—" Shawna said calmly. Kai smiled and nodded his head.

Ryder stared at Lin Jane happily.
"Ryder, you are suggesting that we kill your parents?" Lin asked curiously. Ryder nodded his head absurdly fast.
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Lin Jane asked. Ryder smirked and got closer to her.
"Have you noticed any of the guards faces when they hurt, captured, or killed a dragon?" Ryder asked. Lin thought for a second then turned towards Ryder.
"Regret-" Lin said slowly.
"Exactly! The royal guards, new guards, past guards, all of them regret the decisions that they make on dragons!" Ryder screamed. Lin finally came into realization.
"You are gonna make the guards turn on the king and queen and have them kill them for you." Lin said. Ryder nodded his head.
"I know that a lot of those guards had loved ones, friends, siblings, relationships, and even marriages who were dragons. They dislike my parents but still follow under them! But if there was a king or queen who respected and loved dragons just as they did, they'd be a lot more happier." Ryder explained. Lin Jane smiled at Ryder. Ryder turned towards her.
"Here is my plan. I am gonna leave to go search for my brother. You will wait for me to send you a letter that me and my brother are on the way back. Once I send it, you gotta tell the main royal guards about my idea. This'll give me and the guards enough time to get back and to get rid of my parents." Ryder said. Lin Jane felt proud and nodded her head then froze.
"W-wait— What about your baby sisters?—" Lin Jane asked. Ryder stared at Lin Jane in shock when he realized that he forgot about his baby sisters.
"I-... I don't know-" Ryder said then felt his ears droop down.
"If Kai were here, he'd know what to do..." Ryder said slowly and he felt his tail fall onto the ground between his legs. Lin Jane looked down slowly and smiled. She pulled a small photo from her dress pocket and handed it to Ryder.
"Before this all, we were just commoners who lived in a tiny cottage. My boys both had to drop out of school for money savings and my husband and brother in law both started to work as hard as they could. Sometimes I thought that I didn't even need to send Kai to school because he was so smart." Lin Jane said as she felt a tear fall down her face.
"On Kai's free time, he'd work for his own money in hunting fields. When he earned enough, he surprised us with a family photo. He could only afford a small picture, but it was worth it..." Lin Jane said, handing the picture to Ryder. Ryder took it and looked at it.
"Kai was only 14 in this photo..." Lin said slowly with a large smile. Ryder smiled as he stared at the tiny photo.

Kai was in the middle holding Jay Jane. Lin Jane was on the left of them and Quin Kai was on the right of them and Ren Kai was next to Quin Kai.
"Whatever decision you make, I'm sure Kai will be proud of it Ryder." Lin Jane said. Ryder smiled and felt tears run down his face.
"I'll raise my sisters then." Ryder said happily as he closed his eyes.
"I'll leave in a few days then." Ryder said as he laid down in his bed that was a few inches away from them. Lin Jane tucked him into the sheets and Ryder fell asleep.
