"Katana anak kamusta ranking mo sa school? I heard your on top of your game ah keep it up, yuri you should really be like your sister she's been doing so much at the same time" I chew hard before swallowing. Irritation building up inside me.

"Yes mom ill try my best" sagot ni ate with an apologetic smile which tick me off even more.

I drink on my glass of water gulping it down in one go.

"Katana! that's so unlady like!" My step mom gasp out and dad gave me a confuse look.

"Please can we not start? Nasa harap tayo ng pagkain nakakawalang gana" nanunuya kong sambit, what a great way to eat right?

"Katana thats disrespectful." madiing tawag ni dad.

I rolled my eyes "im just saying dad nasa harap tayo ng pagkain and its not really appetizing to hear mom comparing me with ate, magkaiba kami" i answer as i look back at him with hard look matching his.

Not because she can push ate aside and manipulate her kaya na niyang gawin sakin yan.

I chuckle and shake my head at him "dad wake up! si mom? Wants whats--" before i can even finish my sarcastic reply mom loudly stood...the chair scraping the floor at her abrupt movement.

I knew what was coming next.

Her hand hitting my cheeks resounded all over the room.

Dad stood up immediately "glady!" He sternly called out as he went to moms' side pulling her hand tightly. "What the hell are you doing!" Madiin at tila di makapaniwalang tanong ni dad.

What is she doing? Yan naman lagi ginagawa niya dad your just not here to see.

Si ate? She remain on her sit not even the least bit surprise, she have her head turn down.

A fucking coward, di na nagbago.

"What the hell am i doing?.." she repeated dads' words mockingly before pointing and looking at me with anger.

"Im defending myself to this disrespectful brat!" Matinis ang boses niyang sigaw, eyes wide in anger.

I chuckle as i stood as well "bakit mom? Is it downgrading for you cause dad is here right now? What do you expect me to do act like the perfect girl and take all your shits?" I mock back at her, my eyes showing no emotions as i stare back at her eyes.

"Katana tumigil ka na" sayaw sakin ni dad.

I gave him a once over before quickly looking back at my step mom before shrugging "alright, no problem" i sit back down and continue eating.
