Unyielding Love

Chapter 2

After being cooped up for days unend, her parents  finally allowed her to go out.

Sighing in freedom, she left her house and wandered on the streets and what she saw surprised.

A woman leaped twenty feet into the sky and landed gracefully on the roof. Woah woah woah!

I didn't seem to be anything unnatural because people kept on with the daily activities. As she was walking, she saw a man selling some fruits and he used extremely fast movement to cut the fruits for his customer.

Martial arts! The thought sprung up. Did she live in an era where chi could be harnessed and people could do extraordinary things!? But that...that was impossible.

It didn't seem so now. She saw beast flying up and down ,some with people in it and some with goods.

Ha

'Wait did it mean she could do martial arts too?'

"Nuo Hua!",a childish voice called up to her. She turned her head to the direction of the call and saw a girl about her age calling her.

'Um,was I supposed to respond back?' she thought

"Hey!"she responded.

Teas sprang up in the eyes of the girl and she hugged me. Yu Zi was frozen. She was sobbing so loudly. 'Though I have the mental age of an adult, I wasn't particularly good with children so I don't know what to do',she lamented

"I thought you were going to die" she cried and cleaned her snot with her sleeves.

Ugh. Kids.

"See, I'm okay",  Yu Zi appeased her so she would stop crying!

"We were playing and you fell into the thorns and bush and you fainted and when I called you ,you didn't answer and you......". Yu Zi zoned out because she was a saying so many "and you's". So that is what happened huh.

Welp, that means Nuo Hua died from the fall but my soul replaced her or something. It seems like something that could happen with all the Yu Zi was seeing!

Yu Zi snapped out of her thoughts when the girl who she still didn't know pulled her.

"Let's go play", the girl squealed excitedly.

Wow, she's just went from a sobbing snotting mess to a cheerful girl.

She pulled me to a group of friends and we started playing this game where we would form a circle, and one person would go round singing a song then tap a person when the song ended.

It was interesting for like a minute till  Yu Zi lost interest.

I'm a grown person!

After a while when we stopped playing, one of the children brought out a stone. It was green in colour and we ooed at the way it glowed.

"What is it" Yu Zi asked.

"It's a spirit stone",one of the kids answered.

Wow, I keep learning new things. Spirit stones, martial arts, flying people, beast. What more can you throw at me universe?

The playmates were talking of whatever kids talk about when one solemnly spoke.

"Oneday, want to be Grandmaster just like my grandfather".

'Grandmaster? I have a lot to know' , Yu Zi sighed.

Soon the scorching heat came, so we parted ways.

Yu Zi decided to take a detour before going home. She explored the surroundings and went to an alleyway. When walking, she heard a tiny scream and something fell on her on her head messing up her bun.

The thing groaned and got up and climbed up  Yu Zi's sleeve.

"Hey, kid are you okay?"the creature spoken standing on her shoulder.

A-A-A talking hamster!!

She quickly grabbed the creature off her shoulder and threw it and ran home!

She looked flushed from running,so when her mother saw her she asked,

"Are you okay, Hua'er".

"I'm okay mother",she smiled and entered her room.

What the hell! Talking animals?
