You may be wondering why Yu Zi wants to leave so badly.
Well, there has been a lot of things. Initially, she was excited about exploring a new world,new people and interactions.

Then she saw her new parents and siblings get killed right in front of her. She never had any siblings so this hurt her a lot. The path of revenge is something she didn't want to pursue and so she put it aside.
Being told she was brought here to mend some void and save some clan, was her breaking point.

She is a modern girl who is now asked to restrain herself and all sorts of things she was free to do. Being asked to change when you've lived your whole life a certain way is unacceptable.

In this new world she is in, her risk of dying or losing someone she comes to care about is so high.
Her old life seemed to lack any luster, her parents always busy and staying at boarding school most of her life.

Her parents only sent her money and she took care of herself for years. She even had a boyfriend back in college but broke up due to how busy she was in medical school.

She had many friends in her past life though and was somewhat attached to her old life and wanted to go back because she knew much she would struggle and toil if she stayed behind. But it was the only way to go home.

She knew she shouldn't complain because she still had people who cared for her in this world but it wasn't enough to make her stay. She felt she didn't have a adequate emotional attachment to make her stay.

But that would change and she would be very conflicted on whether to stay or leave and how selfish she didn't know she was.

The carriage was average and Yu Zi , Jiang Po and Nuo Shi sat in was very in a thoughtful posture.

After staying in the palace for about three days they now were headed to the town. Guards accompanied them there but most wouldn't stay and follow them in the affected area.

They just served as escorts while about four guards were to be asked as suicide men to accompany the group.

The place got quieter as they arrived at our destination. At the gate of the town, they alighted and Jiang Po went to speak to the guards at the gate, while Nuo Shi sent the guards off. Yu Zi picked up Fu Mei from her shoulder and set him down .

Fu Mei then transformed into Li Zhi. Jiang Po came back to inform them they could enter but seeing the new person standing there had him a bit surprised.

"It's my pet, it has transformation abilities".

"The pet hamster you always carry on your shoulder?"

Yu Zi nodded with smile.  Jiang Po stared at ' Li Zhi' for a moment before speaking.

"The guards said we can go in the town. But there's a bit of a situation".

Nuo Shi sighed loudly, "What is it, your highness ".

He hesitated," The... people especially young women and girls have been disappearing over a few days now. So, your niece will be under great scrutiny.
And since her pet has transformed, into a girl it may be a cause problems".

"Why are these particular people getting missing?", Yu Zi asked confused. It felt so weird and random.

" They don't know so the best option is for you to become a boy or go home" Jiang Po tossed out.

"Your pet should also transform into something else", he added and turned to Nuo Shi and gave him a look.

What was that look for?

"Nuo Hua, it would be best if you stayed be...".

"No uncle, I can not just let you do this alone. It's my medicine!"

"You're being childish", Jiang Po stepped in.

Yu Zi was quiet for a bit and her uncle placed his hand on her shoulder. After all this her uncle doesn't trust her enough to take care of herself

" Then I'll be a boy" .

Her uncle gasped in shock . " That is highly inappropriate Nuo Hua. Very unbecoming of a lady".
The guards stared at each other then back at the child.

"Uncle,I have a chance to stop people from dying. I-I don't want a child or any other person to loose his family, just as I did mine. Please uncle, I want a chance to help people and that is why I became a physician".

And a doctor in my past life.

Nuo Shi stayed silent and stared at his neice. When she talked about helping others, he felt like she was actually here . He could not just dismiss her since she has the chance of the cure with her signature pink tipped spiritual lotus.

He nodded at her and she beamed hugging him.

"Wait for me here, I'll be right back".

Yu Zi grabbed ,'Li Zhi's' hand and went back into the woods end a bit.

"You're going to let her do this?"

Nuo Shi sighed and stared at the prince.
" What choice do I have?"
