Yu Zi frowned and on the tips of her lips was a 'why'.

The diviner answered, reading her expression, "Because on the map was torn into six different pieces. And I do not know where the other five are".

"Wait, other five. I thought you said six piec....."
He interrupted her by clapping and shouting,

"Yangti , bring the piece".

A boy came out with a small chess. He looked to be the ages of twelve or so. Not quite a teenager but not a kid. He wore dark green robes and his hair was white and his skin was so pale it looked a bit unhealthy.
Like he hadn't gone out into the sun. But he was very good looking and his lips were very pale. He looked sickly.

He reached in front of the man and bowed and handed the chest over to him and stood aside. The boy weirdly called 'Yangti' frowned at her and looked at her with contempt .

Great, someone I don't even know hates me!

"Yu Zi, meet Yangti, a  river spirit. He would aid you in you quest".
The boy bowed at her and straightened.

"How is he here in the rock with you. Is he also dead ?", Yu Zi asked incredulously.

"Yes, he's a half spirit to be precise. Son of a river spirit and a human. He's was a mortal actually that Fu Mei saved  ."

The man took out the old withered piece of paper and beckoned her closer to see. It was a small piece of it .
"Take it with you", he handed the piece of the map to Yu Zi.
"Now let's train".

They started memorizing herbs and instruments the whole day and it seems that time doesn't pass in the space. Because she was so sure they have memorizing things for hours now. Curious, she asked.

"Is time different here than in the real world Master?"
Yangti snorted. He seemed to do that a lot for the time she was here but she ignored him as always.

"No, actually the time you spend her is the same as in the real world"

"So I've been asleep for a few hours now in the real world?"

He nodded.
"Then I have to go then".
He nodded and again and wave his hand and she felt a void sucking her in.
She reappeared in her room on her bed clutching the rock in her right hand and the piece of a map in the left hand. She got up and saw Fu Mei sitting beside her in his hamster form.

"Did you see my Master?"

"Our master now Fu Mei,as much as I hate to say it. He is a little crazy if you ask me".

The hamster chuckled and remembered the time  when they just met.

Flashback.
Fu Laohe was just a young practitioner travelling through the woods when he heard grunts of pain. He walked forward until he came across a man who was bleeding from his chest and limping. The man then stood against a tree breathing loudly before falling to the ground.

Fu Laohe ran forward to help the bleeding man and carried him to a nearby inn for a doctor to treat him. He slept in the same room as the man to make sure nothing happened to him.
That night, Fu Laohe had a vision about the man he saved and when the man woke up he confronted him.

"Are you one of the four great mythical beast, the white tiger? "

The man suddenly became hostile and prepared to attack but since he was too weak from a staged attack he encountered, he only groaned and plopped back in bed.

Fu Laohe sighed and saw that the wound on the man's chest had reopened.
"Don't worry, I am a diviner so I see th...."

"So I am supposed to trust you",the man growled fiercely his eyes turning feline.

"That's not what I meant, but you should calm down or else your wound will open up".

But the man was still tense ,like he would pounce any moment from now.

Few days passed and when the man saw that Fu Laohe had no bad intentions he relaxed abit but was still wary of the diviner. But he was still curious why  Fu Laohe who was in buddist robes would have a hard full of hair on his head like a regular person. But he didn't ask.

When his wounds healed up, he sneaked out when the diviner was still asleep.

Not knowing, those who attacked him sometime ago had put a tracking mark on the mythical beast and the mark was a high level tracking mark so it wouldn't fade away easily.

As the mystical beast was traveling in human form in the night when there was a crescent moon in the sky, someone threw a lightning bolt at him from behind which caught the beast unawares.

The bolt hit him so hard the transformation he had on came undone.
A group of around a hundred martial practitioners stood before him. They were all Earth qi levelled warriors. A bit weak for his level but a hundred of them was going to be tough.

They all attacked him at the same time and while he dodged a few, the swords of some of them grazed him causing him to bleed out. In his majestic white tiger form, he used his huge paw to rip off  two practitioners heads off in one blow.

For hours, the fight went so blood stained, heads and limbs scattered across the ground. As the fight continued, the tiger became weak so his back was open. Those who attacked him saw an opportunity to capture him so they used their swords to strike forward.

Their blows were stopped by a figure in buddist robes. It was very strange to see a Buddhist with hair. Fu Laohe blocked those who wanted to attack the tiger from behind.

But Fu Laohe was stabbed anyway and he threw up blood. The tiger turned back and saw this and caught the diviner before he fainted.

Those attacking stopped and stared at the scene. When someone shouted 'What are you waiting for?', everyone snapped out off their reverie and moved to attack.

Seeing the tiger not moving, they moved faster. The tiger who was still ,gathered his qi and blasted everyone off killing those closer to him and immobilized the rest.

The tiger then took the man away to a safe location and held him in his arms as he transformed into a human. Fu Laohe seemed like he was in the brink of death so the tiger did the only thing he could to save the man.

He created a master slave contact with the man and since the man was too weak to serve as a valuable slave, he took a gamble.
He became the slave and the man became his master.

When the Fu Laohe woke up, he sensed something different about him and the tiger told him of the contract they made when he was unconscious.

After some thought, Fu Laohe said,
"If I'm going to be your master, you should at least have name. Do you have one?"

The tiger paused for a while before he shook his head.

"What about Fu Mei, huh?"

"Fu Mei",the tiger tested out the name then nodded.

"Fu Mei it is then".
