A/n: So in this book there will be two time skips and so in this chapter is the first. I'm writing this because, I gave a draft of this chapter to my friend to read before publishing and he told me to clarify my time skips. There will also be a flashback in this chapter. I know y'all not stupid but you'll never know. So I want to clarify. Soo yeah. I won't post an A/n stating a time skip again if it's annoying.

4 years later

Sitting inside the tent, Yu Zi had her eyes closed cultivating her qi. She was about to make a breakthrough into intermediate qi. She didn't have much time for cultivation because of her studying medics with Fu Laohe. She had to learn mentally through the soul rock and apply it in real life which was very tasking and tiring. Now she very proficient in anything medical but not in martial arts since she is not particularly an all rounded genius.

Her uncle's disciple was guarding the tent so she wouldn't have any disturbances. For a week now, they were traveling to the Flame Gourd Country. A relatively small country which mainly sold spices and incense and made a fortune out of it. A Gao flu has hit a small town there and the emperor of the country was offering any price to rid his town of it. Anymore details would be discussed if we arrived there to help.

Apparently, she has been gaining name after she basically rid a town of it's epidemic a year ago and the news spread like wildfire thanks to Fu Laohe and her knowledge from her previous life. A little medial genius who rid the town of the Gao flu.

When the Gao flu hit a place, it could easily spread and kill so many people and a country whose town was infested sometimes did atrocious things. They sometimes massacred the whole town or cut the town off the rest of the world. If the town's supplies got finished, then they would die of hunger and thirst. She and her uncle had also gone town to town helping people with her gained medical skills.

Flashback

(A year ago)

Nuo Shi received a letter from an anonymous person asking for help from the great Nuo Shi for the treatment Gao epidemic in a particular town.

He didn't want to go since he heard of the disease, but after hearing the woes in the letter, he decided to risk his life to go. He ventured out alone leaving his disciples and niece but somehow Nuo Hua came along. He refused to take her with him but she insisted. That still didn't move him.

Going to this particular place was risky and couldn't take her with him even though she has shown some genius levelled medical prowess over the years. He travelled to the town and reached the gate where two guards were guarding it.

"What is your business here?".

Nuo Shi just showed them the letter and the two guards stared at each other.

They opened the door to the doctor and shakes their head in pity.

Meanwhile Nuo Hua and Fu Mei followed him not far behind. Fu Mei transformed into a very old scholar with Nuo Hua as his granddaughter.

"State your business here",one guard ordered.

Fu Mei spoke," This old man is a friend of a doctor who came to this town. This old man has been studying the Gao flu all his life".

Shifting his feet,he continued," My granddaughter lost her parents to this flu so she has nowhere to go. So please let us through."

People should be running away from the town not begging to enter. Well, what choice did they have. They were supposed to keep people in the town not out . They let the old man and his ' grand daughter' in and closed the town gate behind them with a head shakes of disapproval.
