I won't let you go

Possible Trigger warning ⚠️ (Hospitals)
Also I'm not good at hospital talk to bare with me plz.

Jen's POV:
After an hour I get a bit worried and try to call Judy. When she doesn't pick up I try not to worry too much. I watch another episode and try to put it to the back of my mind.
After an hour I get a call. I quickly answer it. "Hello?"
"Is this Jennifer Harding?" I hear a voice
"Yes it is"
"Ms Harding this is the st Ambrose hospital, I'm  Dr Charlotte King, This is regarding Judy Hale, she has been in an accident. I can't discuss details but I will need you to get here as soon as you can" the woman says
I hang up and then start thinking the worst.

I call Lorna but she doesn't pick up, probably taking those sleeping pills. I roll my eyes and be call Chris. I sigh when he picks up and I explain as best as I can to him what is going on and tell him that I need him over here to look after the boys.

I get a bag and get Judy's things in it and a change of clothes. I get changed and get my things. I run downstairs and wait for Christopher. As soon as he is here I run to the car and get in.

I drive to the hospital as quickly as I can but I get stuck. I drive past a few cars all stopped in different directions. I see a truck and then I see Judy's car almost under the truck. I gasp and look away.

I soon get to the hospital and walk quickly up to the desk. "Where is Judy Hale?" I ask and then hear my name. I turn around "Hello I'm Dr Charlotte King, I called you" she says and I nod.
"What's going on?" I ask
"Ms Hale has suffered a head injury, luckily there is no major reason to worry, there are no bleeds, just swelling and a bruise. She has cuts from the glass on her face and arms we were able to solve and clean. However, her left leg is broken and her ankle is in a cast and elevated. Her right wrist is also fractured. There is no internal injuries which is really good for her." She says
I look at her shocked "can I see her?" I ask and she nods and leads me to her room.
"Ms Harding, I would prepare yourself,  however she is on a lot of drugs so she might not fully comprehend everything" she Dr King says. "You will also need to pay the rest of the medical bills as Ms Hale does not have enough but we can talk about that later" she says. I nod and then open the door to the room.

I look at Judy and tears start to well up in my eyes. A few Machines were hooked up to her. The bed made her look tiny and fragile. Her leg was up elevated. Her wrist was already in a cast. She had some cuts on her face and bandages on her other arm.

I go over to the chair. I put my bags down and move her fringe out of her face. I look at her and then sit down. I gently take her hand and I look over her.

"Hey" I hear a whisper.

I look to her face, her smile was lop-sided and I smile a little. "You scared the shit out of me Judy!" I say but then I kiss her hand. "How are you feeling?" I ask.

She looks at me and then her self and her eyes widen. "Jen?!" She looks back at me and I sigh.
"I know, you'll be fine don't worry, your leg is broken and your wrist is fractured" I say sadly.
Judy leans her head back and a tear drops down her cheek. I wipe it away.

She then looks back at me "where are the boys?" She asks
"Christopher is with them" I say and stroke your hand softly.
Judy nods and starts to cry. My heart breaks and I stand up and go over to her. I carefully sit on the bed and gently wrap an arm around her and kiss where there are no scrapes.

Judy's POV:

I feel the warmth from Jen and close my eyes. All the thoughts of the accident, from what I can remember, Abe and now that Jen had to leave the boys, all came crashing down on me. I started to cry more even though it hurt and made my headache worst.

Once I calmed down I stayed in silence and enjoyed Jen being near me. Then a blonde doctor came in. Jen moved off the bed and sat on the chair and I felt her hold my hand and stroke it. Dr King explained what had happened and then the police were waiting to speak to me. Jen looks up and then looks at me.

"Um okay" I reply and then they walk in.

"Ma'am would you mind stepping out?" One of them ask Jen. I look at them and then Jen. She sighs and nods. She kisses my hand and then she stood up. "I'll just be outside" she says and then leaves the room. I watched her walk outside and then turned my attention to the officers. I talk them through what happened and then they tell me what happened with the evidence that they had so far and I started to cry again.

Jen's POV:
I walked out the room and sighed. I saw Christopher call me so I picked up and went to the vending machine. I get us a snack and update Christopher. I go back outside the room and then hang up after I talked to Chris. I saw the police walk out.

I walked back in with a slight smile, but then I see Judy crying and I frown and go over. "What is it?" I ask and move the hair out of her eyes.

"T-They told me what they think h-happened" she stuttered. I sigh and kiss her head softly. "I know I drove past all the cars on the way here" I say sadly and tear up again.
"I'm sorry you had to see that" Judy says softly.
"Me too" I reply
Judy looked up at me. I stroked her head and smiled a little at her "they said I could sue" she says. I look at her, I nod
"do you want to?" I ask and she looks at me blankly. "We don't need to think about it now" I then say

"I got us a snack" I say and unwrap it for her. We then eat them in comfortable silence.

"I think you should sue them..." I say and look at Judy. She sighs.

"I don't know Jen"

"Judy you could have died. You'll definitely need a new car" I state and she nods

"I'll think about it" she says and I nod and smile a little.

*Time skip*

POV change:
By now Dr King has said that Judy will  have to stay over night for observation. Jen was sat next to Judy in the bed. They had the tv on and Jen had her arm around Judy comfortably. They were watching the small tv in the corner of the room. They soon fell asleep in each other's company.

Im going to try and update this story more now. It might be a bit slow because of school but tell me what you want to see!
