Sunghoon's POV

Yeji: "nice shirt bestie" she chuckled because she was wearing the shirt she bought during the weekend

Jake: "careful guys are gonna be hitting on you" I took a quick glance at Jake and then back to y/n. That's not good

Y/N: "relax I can take care of myself" I wanted to say 'can you?' But I have to get her to like me

Sunghoon: "don't worry Jake, I'll protect her" I heard girls like it when guys are straightforward... right? Yeji and Y/n seemed like they didn't know how to respond. Did it not work? Now I feel embarrassed "uhhh let's go" I quickly gestured them inside and dragged y/n with me

Y/N: "slow down we've got plenty of time before class" I loosened my grip on her arm and smiled cheekily. While entering the school everyone looked at us like we were aliens or something. Is there something new? I turned my head right and left and all of them had their eyes on y/n. Ahhh is this what Jake meant? Seriously? It's a plain black slightly cropped shirt and all the guys here are looking at her like she's a glass of water in the middle of a hot desert. I took a quick glance at her and wrapped my arm over her shoulders. She looked a bit shocked at gave me a weirded out face "uhh Sunghoon?"

Sunghoon: "sorry is this making you uncomfortable?" I was about to remove my arm until she spoke

Y/N: "no it's ok" she gave me a reassuring smile and let my arm dangle around her shoulder. I smiled but then it turned into a smirk as I faced forward. I brought out my phone and pretended I was doing something to make it seem to everyone that we're 'close' and this is normal for us. This isn't anything new though, I have stayed at everyday... but not by boys. I chuckled to myself, why does this feel good? Making others jealous? *chuckle* nice

We entered the classroom and all eyes were on us. We just took our seats pretending none of us noticed. While waiting y/n was leaning forward on her desk while talking to Yeji. I groaned to myself, her shirts going up. Jake and I were behind them so I just looked away not wanting to feel like a perv. Looking away didn't really help so I brought out my phone and just scrolled through twitter. The professor came a few minutes later with a handful of papers.

Y/N: "hey he's returning our tests today, fighting" she said to me and then gestured to Jake and Yeji.

Y/N: "awesome!" Y/n and I high fived as we got the highest scores in class.

Yeji: "no fair!"

Jake: "smartass" we chuckled at him

Sunghoon: "I should be congratulating myself. Gosh I'm such a good tutor" I said in a playful tone and she tilted her head glaring at me

Jake: "ok whatever anyway!" He tried to quickly change the topic "you guys wanna go somewhere later?"

Yeji: "can't I'm slammed with homework"

Y/N: "same here I've got a research paper I have to do for Econ" was it only Jake and I who were free?

Sunghoon: "then why don't we go to a cafe? Let's study there?"

Yeji: "are we actually gonna study or will we just talk?" She lazily said out loud for us to hear

Jake: "let's actually try to study"

Y/N: "fine let's try but if it doesn't work then we really can't study together"

Y/N's POV

I swung open the slightly heavy glass doors of the cafe instantly smelling coffee grounds/beans and a natural easy-on-the nose air freshener. I turned my head and looked around searching for them

Sunghoon: "y/n! Over here!" I turn my head towards the voice and I see him raising his hand up for me to see. I walked towards them and took a seat in front of Sunghoon, beside Yeji to my right and Jake diagonally to the right from me.

Y/N: "you guys ordered?"

Jake: "yup I just got your usual? Onion soup and a caramel macchiato?" I nodded and hung my bag behind my chair

We started discussing to each other what we had to do or what we had to work on. We chit chatted for a while until we realized we've been talking for some time and we had to start on some work. I opened my lap top and maybe around 5-10 mins in our orders came and we thanked the waiter. I took a sip from my drink and also some soup. While writing down some notes I received an airdrop from Sunghoon. I looked at him with an eyebrow raised and he just pointed to my laptop again. I accepted the note and it read

'is that all you're eating?'

I look up at him staring at me and I typed back my answer and airdropped it back

'is that all you're eating?'
'Yeah I'm not that hungry'

I thought that was it until I got another airdrop. Boi seriously?

I look up at him annoyed

'is that all you're eating?'
'Yeah I'm not that hungry'

'Come on!!'
'I swear if you don't stop I'm turning off my airdrop'

When I sent it to him his mouth fell open a bit and looked at me shocked. The corner of my lip curled up  and I went back to working on my research paper. He tapped my foot and I looked at him annoyed. I mouthed a 'what?!' And he gestured to his hand on my left and I looked at it and it was a small chocolate bar. I didn't even get it but he just placed it on the side of the table only where I can see it. He looked at it again and went back to working on his own thing. I tapped my finger on the table multiple times and bounced my leg tempted to eat it. It does look good... ugh fine

I unwrapped it and took a bite. I heard a chuckle and when I look up he wasn't even looking at me. Tsk so annoying. He extended his hand and took my drink sipping on it. I gave him a shocked face and he mouthed a 'thank you' with a playful wink. That was an indirect kiss!!

Sunghoon: "hey y/n can you come with me?"
