Part 23 || done with the plan

Sunghoon's POV

Yeji: "Benjamin what's going on with you? You've been spacing out every since 2 weeks ago, around the night after Jake proposed" I shook my head and gave her my forced smile

Sunghoon: "it's nothing, I've just been busy" she nodded and left. I laid back on the couch and sighed tiredly. I've been planning my proposal to y/n. I'm done with my stupid fucked up plan. I cant imagine how my life will be like if she wasn't with me. Thinking back to the past I reminisced all the times y/n made me happy. She stayed with me even thought I treated her badly in the past. I've never seen anyone care for me that much in my life. Not even from my parents. If I'll propose to her I'm doing it because I love her. I'm not continuing with that fucking plan anymore. That was the old stupid me.

<time skip 2 weeks>

Y/N's POV

Y/N: "so~ have you talked about the wedding with my brother?" She blushed and took a sip from her coffee. We were in the buildings cafe taking a break from work.

Yeji: "not really... we were thinking we'd start full on planning next week with the help of our parents" I nodded and before I could speak I felt 2 hands on my shoulders.

Sunghoon: "hey babe" I looked up and saw Sunghoon smiling down at me

Y/N: "Hoon! You're-" I widened my eyes when he kissed me. My heart beat fast and my faced heated up. We do kiss but not often, usually only when something big happens or there's just a strong emotion involved. He pulled away and kissed my forehead before taking a seat beside Yeji and I. We were in a round table so it was fine "what was that for?" He shrugged his shoulders

Sunghoon: "nothing, I just really missed you"

Y/N: "you saw me an hour ago when I handed you the marketing plans my team and I came up" I chuckled and he laughed holding my hand rubbing his thumb on the top of my hand. I looked at Yeji and she was giving a troubled look at Sunghoon. I wonder if there's something wrong. She's been doing that everytime I'm with him.

Sunghoon: "hey babe, you remember that park we used to go to?" I hummed while nodding

Y/N: "yeah why?"

Sunghoon: "right there's a river across it? Can you meet me there at 8:00? Also you Yeji- actually the 4 of us. Is that cool with you?"

Y/N: "I mean yeah sure but why?"

Yeji: "yeah Sunghoon why?" She said in a demanding tone and the siblings glared at each other

Sunghoon: "dress up a bit, like a semi formal type of dress ok?"

Y/N: "you're acting weird but ok" I pulled him by his neck and kissed his cheek which we normally do. "I'll see you later, Yeji and I have a meeting in 10mins" we all stood up and I hugged him goodbye

Sunghoon: "Be there ok?" I nodded while smiling and watching him walk away.

A/N's POV

Y/n dressed up nicely and so did the rest of them. She still didn't know why Sunghoon asked her and everyone else to dress up but she fully trusted him like she always did. She made sure her earrings' locks were tight and checked herself one last time. Satisfied with how she looked she hopped inside her car and asked the driver to drive her there. Although it was a 10min walk only. Jake was in the building so he would just go straight and anyway he had people to bring him his outfit. I thanked the driver before I got out of the car and looked around. It's pitch black. She couldn't see a thing. She followed the stone pathway and called out to them a few times

Y/N: "guys? Hoon! Jake Yeji are you guys-" she stoped mid sentence when all the lights came back on. There were fairy lights hung and little circular lamp type of balls hung on the trees. It lit the whole side of the river with Sunghoon on the ground on one knee right in front of y/n. She dropped her bag and covered her mouth in shock

Sunghoon: "y/n" he said with the biggest smile on his face. He looked at y/n while holding the small black velvet box with his trembling hands "you're the best girl in the world and we've been together for so long. We've had our fights and laughters but in the end no matter how tiring they get, I'll always always want to be with you. And I'm sorry-" he looked down worrying y/n. The second he looked up tears formed in his eyes.

The yellow light shined on his face while his teary eyes reflected so sparkly, it made him look like a prince.

Sunghoon: "I'm sorry for treating you so badly before. I regret everything, everything... if only I could go back in time to tell myself that I was hurting the most beautiful, and precious girl in the world. I love you Sim Y/n, will you marry me?" She dropped to her knees and cried in front of Sunghoon

Y/N: "yes! Yes of course!" She hugged him causing a strong impact making him fall on his back with y/n on top of him. Y/n hugged him tightly and he wrapped his arms around her holding her like he was ready to give up anything to keep the girl in his arms safe. Everyone came out, friends and family. Sunghoon and y/n smiled and laughed seeing everyone come out. They all clapped for them and shouted congratulation over and over again.

Sunghoon: "I love you" he whispered so only she could hear. They pulled apart and he slid the ring on her ring finger. They stood up and faced everyone while holding hands. Before saying anything, Sunghoon grabbed her neck and gave her a kiss. They pulled apart smiling while crying making everyone chuckle at them "I'M ENGAGED!" He shouted and everyone cheered. Everyone except Yeji...
