Part 4 || new tutor

Y/N's POV

Jake: "woah guys what's going on?" We both quickly looked up and saw Yeji and Jake staring at us weirdly. I quickly removed his arm around me and moved away from him

Y/N: "I just slipped, he caught me" they nodded hesitantly while looking at us suspiciously

Yeji: "right... anyway, let's head to the cafe?"

Y/N: "you guys go ahead I need to study"

Jake: "what subject?"

Y/N: "chemistry, I seriously don't get any of the structures or whatever"

Sunghoon: "let me tutor you" we all turned to him surprised "what? It's easy and I always teach Yeji when she doesn't get something"

Jake: "seriously?" He questioned

Sunghoon: "yeah no big deal, you guys can have a date instead and y/n and I can study in my house" his house? HIS house? Now he's inviting me to their place when he used to want to kick me out?

Yeji: "just study next time y/n, and anyway I think we all deserve a break right?" She said to all of us but she was glaring at Sunghoon like she was trying to tell him something else

Sunghoon: "if y/n needs help I'll help her" he glared back and said it firmly. Jake and I looked at each other sensing a fight and when these 2 fight it's really a fight

Jake: "ok you go and study Yeji and I will be... somewhere, be home at 9:00pm y/n!" I nodded and pulled Sunghoon away and Jake pulled Yeji the opposite direction. Phew that was a close one good thing they didn't fight... I let go of him and held my chest breathing out

Sunghoon's POV

She let go of my sleeve and took a breathe. Ughh would really rather much hangout with Jake. I put a fake smile on my face and turned to look at her

Sunghoon: "ready to study n/n?" Weirdly enough every time I call her by my old nickname for her it makes me feel weird inside. She looked at me with her big eyes and nodded

Y/N: "sure" we started walking to the bus station in silence. Do I have to start a conversation? Such a burden

Sunghoon: "so y/n, what have you-"

Y/N: "why are you doing this?" I furrowed my eyebrows at her and she looked at me just wanting an answer. For money. "Why are you suddenly being nice to me?" For the inheritance "why did you change all of a sudden?" To fucking live my life away from my parents and their stupid business

Sunghoon: "I just wanna get our old friendship back is that so bad? And I've actually been thinking for a few days why I was ever mean to you. I knew it was wrong so I wanna change that and if you let me I promise I'll make it up to you" did I sugar coat it enough?

Y/N's POV

His explanation made sense but is he really telling the truth? Should I trust him? I bit the inside of my bottom lip and sighed

Y/N: "ok I'll let you make up for it" he smiled brightly at me

Sunghoon: "yes! You won't regret it!" I tilted my head amused by him. I'm going to wait until I get to see the old Sunghoon, right now the Sunghoon beside me is a fake and a playboy.

We entered the bus and looked for places to sit. There was only one seat left though

Sunghoon: "go sit I'll stand"

Y/N: "no it's ok you can-" the bus started moving and Sunghoon had no choice but to sit down since he was closer to the chair and it was jam packed.

Sunghoon's POV

There's not enough space for us to switch. I guess I have to let her stand? 5 mins passed and people started getting off so it got looser. Still packed but less people. Y/n was using her phone and I was just looking at my surroundings. I look at y/n and see her peacefully playing with her phone. Looking at her actually made me quite curious. A bad feeling came inside me... regret? I don't know but after we came back from the States and after my scandal it all just changed. Y/n was really fun and she was always there for me... so why did I treat her like that? She looked behind her trying to move forward. I glance at the man behind her and see his weird smile on his face. He was about to touch her ass but I pulled her by her wrist towards me

Y/N's POV

The man behind me was making me uncomfortable but I couldn't say anything. Before I could do anything Sunghoon pulled me by my wrist making me land on his lap. I widened my eyes and looked at him but he was glaring at the guy behind me. Our faces were maybe 4 inches apart. My heart skipped a beat. So handsome... he faced me and sighed

Sunghoon: "that guy was gonna harass you" I nodded

Y/N: "thanks Hoon" I saw him gulp but just nodded. I was gonna stand up again but he just held me down

Sunghoon: "don't be stupid by standing up cause you'll get harassed again" the way he said it though was like a joking yet caring way. He snaked an arm around my lower waist holding me still like a seatbelt. I kinda froze and I was a bit uncomfortable... I knew I could trust Sunghoon but we were never this close- He suddenly stood up and quickly switched places. Now he was the one standing and I was sitting down. It seemed like he could read my mind

We got off the bus after a few stops.

Y/N: "thanks for that Hoon, I appreciate it" I awkwardly thanked him

Sunghoon: "no problem" he smiled back to me and we continued walking back to his house. He inserted the key and opened the door ladies first" I furrowed my eyebrows playfully at him and entered. Interesting... "make yourself at home I'll just get everything prepared" I nodded and sat down on the sofa of the living room. Of course I made myself at home Jake and I always go here for hangouts or when our parents have business meetings. The sofa was a bit too high for the coffee table so I just sat on the floor leaning on the corner. I heard footsteps coming down and I see Sunghoon carrying his school supplies

Y/N: "those are your notes?" He nodded and placed them down in front of me

Sunghoon: "wait here" he ran to the kitchen probably gonna get some food

Y/N: "this'll be quite interesting..." I suddenly got a message from Jake so I picked it up and opened it
