Charing Cross Road, London, England. July 31, 1991. 2:15 P.M.

Harry, Cyrus, alongside with Hagrid and Caspian, are walking through the streets of London, as Hagrid was taking the two to get their school supplies, mostly Harry, seeing as Cyrus already had everything he needed, except for his wand. "All students must be equipped with... One standard size 2 pewter cauldron and may bring if they desire, either an owl, a cat, or a toad." Harry said reading from the acceptance letter he had gotten. "Can we find all this in London?" Harry asked Cyrus and Hagrid in confusion. "If you know where to go." Hagrid replied.

The four of them walked up to a rundown look old shop, the once blank sign, revealed an image of a black cauldron saying "The Leaky Cauldron" as they walked in. Upon entering the two boys were surprised to encounter a lively pub, full of witches and wizards just having a good time as music played in the background. Hagrid was then greeted by the bartender named Tom, who asked Hagrid if he were to serve him his usual. "Seems like Hagrid is a regular here." Cyrus thought. "No, Thanks, Tom. I'm on official Hogwarts business. Just helping young Harry here buy his school supplies." Hagrid stated as he patted Harry's backs.

"Bless my soul. It's Harry Potter."

Harry's eyes widen in surprise as the music in the background stops playing and everyone turns to look at them. A few witches and wizards came up to Harry shaking his hand, to which the young boy remained shocked and confused. Then the four of them approached a man of the age of 22 wearing dark purple robes and a purple turban around his head. "Harry P-Potter. C-Can't tell you how pleased I am to meet you." The young man said with a stutter. "Hello, professor. I didn't see you there. Harry, Cyrus, this is Professor Quirrell. He'll be your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher." Hagrid explained. Harry then tried to shake the man's hand but Quirrell look at his hand with a slight hint of fear, maybe.

Cyrus raised an eyebrow at this, and grabbed Harry's shoulders. "Well it was nice meeting you professor, but we must be off, if we hope of getting Harry everything he needs for his first year." Cyrus said with a convincing smile as he dragged Harry out through a back door with Hagrid and Caspian in tow. "There's something off about that Quirrell, I don't trust him." Cyrus thought. "Well, looks like someone is famous." Cyrus joked. "But why am I famous, Cyrus? All those people back there, how is it they know who I am?" Harry questioned as Hagrid stood in front of a brick wall. "I'm not sure we're exactly the right people to tell you that, Harry." Cyrus replied as Hagrid took out his wand and tapped on five different bricks, as the wall began to open up, each brick moving away revealing the alleyway behind it. "Welcome, boys, to Diagon Alley." Hagrid announced as the four of them began to walk through a cobblestoned wizarding alley and shopping area, filled with an assortment of restaurants, shops, and other sights.

"No matter how many times I see it, magic never ceases to amaze me." Cyrus stated as he looked at Harry with a smile causing the boy to blush. "Here's where you get your quills and your ink. And over there, all your bits and bobs for doing your wizardry." Hagrid said as he pointed at the different stores while Harry gazed upon everything in amazement. "But, Hagrid, how am I to pay for all this? I haven't any money." Harry stated with concern. "Well, there's your money, Harry. Gringotts--The Wizard Bank. T'ain't no safer place. Not one. Except perhaps Hogwarts." Hagrid spoke as he pointed at the large white crooked building just head of them. "You two go on ahead. I have other matters to take care of." Cyrus stated as he began to walk the opposite direction. "Where will you be?" Harry asked with curiosity. Cyrus then turned to look at him and gave him a reassuring smile. "I'll be in Ollivanders, getting my wand. Meet me there when you've gotten everything else." Cyrus said as he waved at them and walked over to the dark wooded store with Caspian in tow.
