Onikas Pov School wasn't that bad today. I plan on taking different route home today. I felt somewhat awkward around Ms Knowels now.
I always get so nervous around her. Crush maybe? No. I don't think i've ever had one. Especially on a girl. No- a grown woman.
Was I even into woman?
My mother wouldn't approve.
I sighed closing my locker for the day and I ended up bumping into someone tall. I look up and it's one of the girls on the volley ball team.
She had braids in, and glasses so I couldn't tell her exact expression.

"I'm so sorry- I should've watched where I was going-" Before I could finish I heard a chuckle.
She was..laughing?
"Girl it's cool, you ain't gotta apologize my dumbass should've been looking where I was goin'." She said shrugging.
Thank God she was nice and not one of those assholes.
"Nah I wasn't looking either.." I said looking down it was a slightly uncomfortable silence now.
"You play volleyball, I know you short in all but do you?" She asked randomly.
What did my height have to do with it?
"Uh, no I used to play with a ball in my backyard sometimes that's it." I said putting the weight on my other foot.
"Would you be interested? Please say yes, you could totally suck ass but as-long as you can stand and have fast reflexes you could join!" She seemed eager. I guess they need another player.
"I wasn't planning on playing a sport this year-"
"It's cool, cmon please?" She begged me at this point she had her hands on my shoulders and her glasses were on her head and she was pouting. I felt bad and eventually just nodded.
She immediately hugged me and yelled "WOO!"
"Ight cmon let's see if you got any skills." She grabbed me immediately and starting pulling me with her.
"Wait!" I said stopping her movement.
"What's your name?" I asked slightly out of breath. she did pull me roughly. I didn't even know her name.
"Oh mine? Robyn."
So I guess I play volleyball now. The team was impressed I guess. They said I could serve pretty well and had fast reflexes. I was apparently as this girl Zendaya described it, "A Beast". I didn't think so but they did.
I smiled slightly. I had friends, me and the girls exchanged numbers and we even took a picture together.
