To Mend Her Broken Heart (Kija x Reader x Jaeha)

Chapter Nine

These few nights, Yun was starting to see that you had been sleeping near the window. One night, he was staying up late and he finally understood why.

"So it was you all along" says Yun.

"How's Y/N-chan?" Jaeha ask.

"She now either only shakes her head or nod her head" says Yun sadly.

"I'll never forgive that bastard" Jaeha mumbles.

"Tell me. Do you really love Y/N?" Yun ask with his arms crossed.

"I do" Jaeha says without hesitation.

He knew from the start when he was starting to get closer to you. You'd always be on his mind whenever possible.

He didn't like it when Kija was being touchy with you. He started missing you when you weren't around. He got scared after he heard you've been kidnappd.

He got angry after seeing you in this state. More angrier after seeing you struggle to testify to the police on what happened.

He wants to protect you and keep you safe. However, he didn't knie any other way other than playing his Erhu every night.

He loves you.

"You know, she's been sleeping by the window every night. You have been playing music for her right?" Yun ask.

"The melody I play every night was the melody I was playing when she first hear it" says Jaeha.

Yun started to think. If neither he nor Kija is able to make you recover, he thinks maybe Jaeha can.

"Jaeha, I've got a favour to ask of you"

*knock* *knock*

A knock was heard on your door but you lifelessly stare at your bed. The door opens and you hear footsteps.

You then hear the sound of shuffling. A chair was placed beside your bef and you were hearing other things.

Then you hear it. The Erhu melody that you have been hearing. You slowly turn to see who is playing it.

Your eyes widen. Tears flow out of your eyes.

"J-Jaeha..." You call.

Jaeha looks uo to see you crying which surprised him. What's more surprising is you calling out his name.

"Y/N-chan? Why're you crying?" Jaeha ask as he wipes away the tears.

"J-Jaeha..." You cry out his name.

"I'm here Y/N-chan" says Jaeha.

"Jaeha...!" You cry.

Jaeha then pulls you into a hug as you cry out his name. Jaeha strokes your hair while whispering to you that he's here.

After you had calmed down, you were slowly recovering back to normal. Yun thought it's a miracle since you couldn't respond to him or Kija.

"Maybe it's love that has brought Y/N back to her senses" says Yun, on the phone with Kija.

"I... See" says Kija solemnly.

Kija knew deep down. He has lost. Lost to Jaeha.

"Kija, I know you're upset but..."

"I can slowly move on. Even though Y/N hasn't reply back to me, I already know her answer" says Kija as from his side, he looks up into the blue sky.

Within the next few days, Jaeha often came by to see you. You were recovering and Yun could see that the sparkle in your eyes was returning.

Jaeha had already graduated from University and technically now should be a working adult. However his boss Gigan decided to give him a break for a while to take care of you.

"Don't you... Have work?" You ask.

"The boss gave me a break. Besides, I want to take care of you" says Jaeha and you smile.

You suddenly wrap your arms around Jaeha to which surprise him a little.

"What's wrong Y/N-chan?" Jaeha ask.

"It's just... It feels unreal" You mumble softly.

Jaeha gently pats your head.

"No need to think about those. Yan Kumji is dead" says Jaeha.

After a week, you made the effort to return back to campus. Even though the guys were worried about your well-being, you were more worried about your studies.

"Are you sure you don't want to restt a little longer?" Kija ask.

"I'll be fine Kija-kun. Besides, I want my university years to go smoothly" You say.

Kija chuckles as the two of you made your way to the lecture hall. Your classmates had surrounded the two of you but all got thwarted by Kija.

Luckily, the day went by smoothly. You were able to catch up quite fast and plus, Kija is there helping you too.

On a particular day, you were wandering around the campus when you ended up at the music room. You then went inside and sat down.

You look around with a smile as the memories came back to you. Although it was only twice, you had enjoyed Jaeha's companion.

"I should see if I can secure a kitchen" You mumble.

You then went to the kitchen facilities in the campus where it's usually used by those majoring in Home Economics.

"Hello there Miss!" A cheerful voice greets.

You turn to see a boy with blonde hair and with him is a boy with beautiful golden eyes and blue hair. You recognize these two.

"Hello Zeno-kun, Shin Ah-kun!" You said.

Zeno and Shin Ah are your kouhais. You don't really know them personally but they are friends with Kija. And what's more, Zeno majors in Home Economics.

"What brings you here?" Shin Ah ask while munching on an apple.

"I was wondering if I could borrow the kitchen" You say.

"Sorry to say Miss but only Home Econs students are allowed" says Zeno.

"Oh... Alright then" You say dejected and is preparing to leave.

"But I can make an exception! You can just sign it under my name!" Zeno exclaims.

"Really? Thank you Zeno-kun!" You say and Zeno smiles.

After Zeno did the procedures, you were left alone in the kitchen. Your time limit in here is 3 hours. You figured you'd definitely have more than enough time.

After laying out the ingredients, you quickly het started on baking cookies. You wanted to bake it for Jaeha.

After around some time, you were finally done and you felt proud. You quickly clean up the kitchen area and was about to leave when you met Zeno again.

"Hello Zeno-kun!"

"Oh hello Miss! It looks like you're done" says Zeno and you nod.

"Thank you for letting me use the kitchen" You say.

"No worries. Anytime!"

You day goodbye to Zeno and decide to dial Jaeha's number. You wanted to see him this instant. You... Want to see him.

"Hello?" Jaeha picks up.

"Jaeha! Are you free?" You ask.

"I'm priceless my dear Y/N-chan~" says Jaeha and you chuckle.

"I'm serious here!" You exclaim with a smile.

"Okay okay jokes aside. Is there something you need?" Jaeha ask.

"Can we meet now? I want to see you!" You say with a tint of pink blush.

Jaeha is definitely taken aback and from his end, he too is blushing.

"Sure... Where do you want to meet?" Jaeha ask, after calming down.

"I'll be over at the park in 10 minutes so I'll see you there!" You say and hung up.

Jaeha is still stun but eventually he prepares to the park to meet you. Because he too wishes to see you.
