Third pov
As all the teenagers pile into the cafeteria and sit on the chairs that were set up for them, the principle clears his throat tapping onto the microphone.
Sky and Shan sit next to each other in the front row and the two guys Calum and Michael sit in the back. The room quiet downs as the principal begins talking
"As you all know the senior prom is coming up-" he stops talking and sighs watching all the students cheering
"As I was saying, theres only a few of you who can't attend this prom because of your grades" he starts and starts reading off a list of names
"The people who cant attend are..Alex R., Christian Capone, Jose Chavez, Jasmine Chavez, Samantha Katrina Jose, Brittany Dixon, Kevin Carrol, and Michael Clifford. Any other names I did not call are allowed to attend the prom"
The room is filled with screams of booing and cheering. Shan looks over at Michael sad, tears brimming her eyes and looks down.
As the room starts getting quiet, people leave the room slowly and Shan runs over to Michael and hugs him tightly
"I cant believe this Michael.." she whispers holding back tears
"Im sorry baby girl" he whispers and wraps his arms around her sighing
He feels bad for her. Not because of his grades but because she knows how much this prom means to her. He feels terrible. As Shan probably feels heartbroken about this.

Skylar pov
"At least this proms theme is mascarade" I say squealing and Calum laughs wrapping his arm around my waist
"Yeah it'll feel mysterious right?" He asks and I nod
"I just hope this prom doesn't turn into a disaster like the last one" he mumbles
"How?"
"The cool kids ruined the night by pranking a nerd. She left the school from all the embarrassment" I frown a bit feeling bad for her
"It wont happen" I say and kiss his cheek making him blush
"I hope so" he says as he opens the door for me and we walk in, everyone glances at us then down at their books
"Yeah" I say wondering who this nerd was who got pranked
"Alright class open to page 347 in your history books" Ms. Thomas says smiling

Third pov(At Skylars House)
"Im so excited Shan!!" Sky says squealing and jumping around
"Yeah me too..." shan mumbles
"Oh um..im sorry I-"
"Sky its fine" she says and sighs
Sky jumps on her bed next to Shan and hugs her, "It'll be okay I promise" sky says while hugging her
After school Calum told Sky to go home and hang out and have a girls day with Shan while he hung out with the guys since its been forever.
"How about we watch Supernatural and eat Icecream?" Sky asks and Shan nods smiling slightly
"And pizza?"
"Already ordered some"

Michael pov
After me and Calum came over to Luke's house for a guys day, we decided to hang out in his basement like good old times.
I feel terrible about all of this. Shan was really hoping on going to prom and I fucked this all up with my bullshit. I should have done my stupid homework and maybe I wouldn't be failing like how I am right now.
She even ordered her dress and it was beautiful. Now I cant even catch a glimpse of her in it. With her mask on and smiling at me. Fuck im pissed at myself and just blah
"Dude!!" Luke says laughing and waves his hand in front of me taking me out of my thoughts
"What the fuck?" I mumble and swat his hand away
"Woah whats got your underwear in a bunch" he says putting his hands up in defense
"Didn't you hear? He cant go to the prom and now he's upset" Ashton says while eating a grilled cheese sandwich
"Ohhh. Because you wanted to go with that one chick" Luke loudly whispers
"Her name is Shanelle" I mumble still trying to push away my thoughts
"Whatever. Lets play some games to take your mind off of it"
"Yeah. Who's gonna play?" I ask and look over at Calum texting someone
"Calum stop sexting and play games" Ashton says taking his phone laughing
"SHHHHH" Is all Calum says before swiping his phone from ashtons hands and putting his phone away, "fine. Only for a little bit"
