Chapter 16

Skylar pov

After watching half a season with Shan and stuffing our faces with food, she calmed down a bit about Michael failing. I kind of felt bad about all this. She cried her eyes out so I felt like I needed to make her feel better some how.

"OH MY GOSH" Shan shouts as she watches Sam and Dean fighting
"We're obsessed with this" I say laughing and she nods
"This show is amazing though"

I get a phone call from Calum and I look at Shan and she nods taking her attention back to the show. I walk upstairs and answer the call

"Ello?"
"Sky!! Okay good you answered"
"Michael? What are you doing on Calums phone?"
"Didn't have your number. Anyways I need your help"

"With what?"
"Can you keep a secret?"
"Depends"

"Okay well I need your nerdy skills to help me pass a test. Calum told me you're good with technology and math. So can you help me cheat?" I widen my eyes and close my bedroom door

"Michael I cant-"
"You can. Please? I need to pass this test to go to prom and-" this time I cut him off and sit on my bed

"I can help then.." i mumble with a sigh
"OH MY GOSH THANK YOU FOR THIS I OWE YOU"
"Okay bye" I hang up and walk back downstairs onto the couch

"Who was it?"
"Calum. He forgot where he left his headphones.."
"Okay"

"Shan I still think you should go to prom" I try convincing her
"I am not going alone" she protests

I have been trying to get Shan to go to prom for like an hour and she hasn't agreed. After the phone call I felt happy for her. She has been waiting all her life for this and she needs to get get her dress

"You won't regret it, please?" I beg and she sighs
"Okay fine whatever" I smile and hug her making her laugh

"Tomorrow we'll go get masks" she nods and we turn off the lights, going to sleep

Michael pov

I mean I never want to cheat on tests but this one I have to and it will be a risk since teachers will be watching me the whole time because im known for cheating.

I decided since Calum talked about how Sky is good with Math and technology she can help me do this.

After the phone call with her I started messaging her on Facebook and we planned the whole thing out. It sounds like a movie but its pretty simple.

We use my cousins van and she sits in the back with the guys. She walks into the class and sneak a copy of the test in the school to see the test im taking. Then gives me an ear piece so she can tell me the answers to the test and so on.

The one thing is that Shan cannot know about this because I want to surprise her with it. Its a risk but she deserves to go to prom with someone.

We all told Shan excuses on where we are going to be. Now we are in the van parked in the school parking lot on a Saturday.

"Okay baby you go in first and talk to the teacher and find a way to get a copy" Calum tells Sky and she nods getting out the car

I wait ten minutes before getting out the car and walking into the school.

Third pov

"So I was wondering if I can get extra credit on Monday?" Sky asks holding her math book, setting it on teachers desk next to the pile of tests
"Yes you can. Good to know you participate in things" she smiles as Michael walks in the room and sits in the front row of desks

"I better go" Sky says and reaches for her book and "accidentally" drops the tests onto the floor along with her book

"Oh my god im sorry let me get that" she says kneeling down and picking up the papers

Ms. Thomas nods and walks over to Michael asking him something. Sky takes the chance and slides a copy of the test between her text book.

"Bye!!" Sky yells as she sets the pile of tests onto Ms. Thomas' desk before rushing out

As the door shuts she rushes into the van and sits down as the boys look at her. She pulls out the test and speak into the microphone

"Okay Michael we cant hear you but you can hear us. So we're going to tell you the answers" Sky speaks into the microphone

Shan pov

After showering a knock came from my door and I walk downstairs opening the door to see Michael holding roses

"Michael what are-"
"Let me talk" he says calmly and I nod slowly, "will you do me the honor of being my date to prom?"

I bite the inside of my cheek, blushing uncontrollably as I feel my heart skip a couple beats. How did he manage to be able to go?

"Yeah Michael I will" I whisper smiling, barely able to speak
"Good" he hands me the roses and kisses me

"How did you manage to go to prom?" I ask pulling away from the kiss
"A couple friends helped me get extra credit and now im a solid C student" I smile and he leans in kissing me again

"Stop being nervous I'll go with you" I say and laugh
"Good im not best for asking things like this" he laughs with me as we walk through the park

"I know. Its cute though" I whisper and he grabs my hand smiling
"Now I know"
"Did Michael pass?" He adds on
"Of course. He had to get some wrong so it looked realistic but yeah"

"Oh my god you're amazing" he says and kisses me
"Calum not in public" I mumble and giggle pulling away from the kiss
"Lets go in the slide then"
